So, let's share our favorite things from Dragonborn!

For Dreekius the Argonian Witch-Doctor, it was definitely the weaponized spiders. It just seems to fit a witch doctor RP.
Dar'resh likes the unique scimitars.

Spoiler
White Ridge Barrow, you can combine spider pods and miscellaneous gems in a machine to make spider that work like scrolls, you can hold them in your off hand and throw them.  They have effects like Flame Cloak, Jump-into-the-enemy's-face-and-explode-with-poison-fire-ice-or-shock, etc.  It's creepy as hell though if you play first person(which I do), the wriggling spider in your off hand.  Worth it though.  Also, there is a Dragon Priest with a mask and a word wall in the ruin, all in all worth clearing.

Actually, I would have to say, for my sorceress, Miraak's robes. They are great when you have to fight in close quarters. lol

They're quite effective, and don't expire over time. Feel like BAMF walking into Raven Rock with two flaming spiders following you and a Daedric Mace at your side(found one in a cave, was very surprised at how much I like the looks compared to other Daedric stuff).

You just have to love them. Especially now that I have a use for all those jems that I collected in Skyrim. lol

No doubt. I have complete the stones of Barenziah quest for the thieves guild and man I find a ton of gems in every chest or container. Even things like urns and previously dead draugr always have two to three gems on them, mostly flawless.

From what I've seen (don't own the DLC yet) it's just the overall Dunmer experience I've missed since Morrowind (minus a few details *cough* JEFF BAKER *cough*) the culture, the clothes, the armor, the surroundings, everything.

Favorite Item?

The new Skaal gear. Very immersive to bring back to Skyrim propper. So snowy and blizzardy....a Nord needs some sort of protection from the elements. Those fur stips that are called Fur Armor don't cut it

Yeah there are alot of elements I really like in this dlc but I have to agree the Skaal gear would have to be my favorite. Prior to that I always carried fur armor to put on in the cold, blizzarding north. The Skaal coat and gloves with the stoam cloak officers helmet is my favorite apparel to wear in the cold now.

I understand that there is a complete full set, including the hat/helmet. Do you know where it is??

Oh yeah. Very good from a RP standpoint. I'm thinking of redoing a charachter who only wears this and who is a hunter/thief living in the pale Heljarchen hall. Just the single small house, no fancy stuff like a steward or anything like that. Just me and the wife living off of the land...BTW, the Skaal Jacket looks awesome with the TG hood. Color matches and kinda practical for bracing against the elements. I just can't get into the Skaal hat....

Not sure about the full set in one grab & go, but most random encounters in the Ash fields to the South, east of Raven Rock, you will see hunters battling Netch. You can loot the Skaal getup from them, however they NEVER carry the Gloves. You can only loot the boots, jacket and hat.

The only Skaal gloves Ive encountered were in the Dwember runis of Falbtharz to the NW of the Abandoned house. They are found in the large chamber wtih the spinning gears. The room is esentially a large square, so the platform the fallen Skaal is located on is the left side. You'll have to puruse around the gears and bridges on the 2nd level to get to that side however...you can't miss it.

I love the new theives guild armor. It also may be a placebo effect, but I think they fixed the bug with enchanting pickpocket having a negative effect after some point.

Well its not really new. Its Linwe's armor with the Guild Master enchantments. But yeah, up until DB my brutish assassin theif primarily wore Linwe's armor. Love the look.

So, um, *SPOILERS AHEAD*

For me, it's gotta be the perk respec ability you gain from defeating Miraak. I was just bemoaning the fact that I couldn't craft light stahlrim cos I hadn't taken ebony smithing (light armour character, saved the perks for elsewhere), and BAM! There ya go, have another try! It means I've been able to try out a few different concepts within one character, all at the low low price of a few dragon souls!

It actually has better enchantments than the Guild Master armor. Gloves for example give 40% better lockpicking rather than 35% with the Guild Master gear.

Being a light armor guy in this playthrough, I am loving the light stalhrim stuff. Deathbrand is a great set of armor as well. I also like the new Nord bow.

Oh yea...SPIDER BOMBS!

Now multiply that by ten and you know how a Khajiit raised in the desert feels

Even worse for the cold blooded Argonians. They have to cast Arniel's Convection on themselves just to not die LOL
