The Rift, Whiterun.

My favorite is tied between Falkreath Hold and The Reach.

I love the Reach because of Markarth, and also the rugged terrain with the rivers, waterfalls and such, and lots of interesting places to visit, and the Forsworn...yeah, definitely my favorite Hold. Beautiful, and there's a lot going on there.

I just recently started spending more time in Falkreath, because it was so out of the way with not very many major locations west of Riverwood. But there's something really wonderful about the dense pine forests and the mountains there. It almost feels even more isolated/barren than Winterhold hold does, which I like. Makes it fun to explore.

I love the Reach, although I live in Solitude.

But I plan to make a nice house mod there.

The Reach.

The Reach. I love the atmosphere there- it seems a lot like Wales, with the deep valleys and hills shrouded in mist. Markarth itself is also awesome, since it's a Dwemer city.
