I will just go out and explore, in every sandbox game I just go out and explore for a couple of hours before doing anything concrete.
I will be an evil bastard.
And I will Stay on Very Hard hardcoe the entire time even if it's really really really really really really really really really hard.

Oh and I think we already have this kind of thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1111808-first-characters/

I'll be roaming the wasteland finding easy-to-do quests first.I'll try to make a neutral character but I'll start on normal.I want to experience the game at first without any challenging limitations.I'll go for the trophies after I completed my original playthrough.

I will get lost, be good and start on hardcoe normal difficulty, white HUD and white pip-boy.

My character will be a female named KItty, tags will be: EMU, Energy Weapons, Melee Weapons and Unarmed.

SPECIAL,undecided, but Intelligence will be low, for lulz dialogue.

I'll pick Wild Wasteland and Four Eyes as traits.

make my intelligent, nice guy character who cant stand to see people abused by others. look for the nearest town. and help those in need.

or just kill everyone and then start over with a serious file

I'm going to play a high Intelligence character that loves using Energy Weapons about 2/3 of the time and Guns the rest. He's going to be great at trading and repairing. I'm going to spend the first few hours in a relatively safe area scrounging for whatever weapons and armor I can get and doing small quests for people that I deem nice because I like helping people and doing the right thing.

Kill every sorry little bastard that stands in my way.
Show no mercy.
I will probably play on hardcoe, just to have a different way to play the game, so I play it differently then Fallout 3.

On hardcoe I'll explore the wasteland and towns, trying to make a well rounded character that for the most part will be good. But even on my good character I'm not above murdering someone for their clothes, of course this "shunned" thing I saw in an earlier video might make it hard for me to do that.

Since the story line to this does not seem as urgent feeling as Fallout 3's main quest, I'll take my time and explore more. In my first play of F3, I pretty much stuck to the main quest only completing side quests if they happened to be along the route I was taking to complete a main quest. For instance, I took Lucy's quest to deliver her message to Arefu, but I did go to Arefu until I was headed West to find Vault 112. By sticking to the main quest, I missed a lot of stuff.

And I'm definitely playing hardcoe mode. I liked how in the beginning of F3 you felt vulnerable and weak and had to pick your fights carefully, but by level 4, 5 or 6 you were pretty much in no danger. I hope hardcoe mode in NV keeps that feeling through the whole game.

Voted exploring closest town, no hardcoe, and probably evil. Its not that I am an "evil" person but I always had to intentionally make a good character to have a good character in Fallout 3.
