"Your horse is stabled outside the city gates."

I've been wondering this lately and I finally got around to it.

Basically I wanted to see if the game still gives you that message if you're on a Horse and Fast Travel inside of city walls. To my surprise it doesn't? I know this isn't anything major just something that ran across my mind just now and peaked my interest.

What do you all think?

Your horse is no longer stabled outside the city gates. Well... perhaps for Riften, where it IS outside the city gates. But Solitude? It's freaking 1 mile from the city gates

This is exactly what I'm trying to convey. People who haven't played the TES series (I've played Oblivion, intensively) wouldn't even know that. Most would probably think the Horse is back where they left it and go there. IDK just something I wanted to see and it got me curious is all..

If people don't know your Horse will spawn itself at the Stables outside of the City. Ones who don't have Stables need not apply because they're all open towns/cities.

My favorite thing about horse armor from Oblivion, was that as soon as you armored a particular horse, it would never move from the place where you dismounted. Whereas non armored horses would eventually return to the original stable where they were purchased.

I have 5 armored horses all corralled in the stable of Battlehorn Castle, including Shadowmere. It was awesome. I miss it.
