Your latest endeavour.

Post » Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:35 am

So, fellow Fallout forumites, I propose a simple question to you - what was your last (mis)adventure? Or perhaps your last arbitrary endeavour? From quests to items, glitches to stories, whatever it may be - you can share it here.

I got an entire family of Deathclaws stuck inside a medium size rock, making Boone and ED-E go mental on said rock, never hitting the Deathclaws and never following me again, until reload.

Yeah, 11 is easily one of the most plot-driven Vaults... excluding the obvious ones.

Did you get the mini nuke? Pretty much the only loot worth anything there xD.

Picked up Cass, she's cute, and collected all the snowglobes in the game to get some quick cash so I could outfit her with Reinforced Mark II Combat Armor (no helmet, her hat makes her), and a fully modded Hunting Shotgun. We then proceeded to wander the Waste getting whiskey fueled, bloody revenge on those her wronged her. Good times!

LOL!

I set Veronica loose in Scorpion Gulch or whatever it's called between Black Mountain/Hidden Valley/HELIOS 1 and watched her punch bark scorpions and giant radscorpions to death with the Paladin Toaster glove... was pretty crazy to watch, EMP blasts flying left and right, scorpion bits flying right and left! :toughninja:

Do followers automatically equip weapons with highest damage? Because I'm thinking about giving Boone an AMR...

Would I have to give him the ammunition for it? Or does he conjure it up like he does for his scoped HR?

click the last option on the computer right after the sacrifice chamber.

dont leave the computer though.

each time you click the last option you gain 500 exp.

you can go from 1-30 in 10 second of clicking

thats what i did, with my Mr.house playthrough at least

@trustys above post- you have to give him ammo if you want to do that

Followers automatically equip the weapons with the most DAM based on their skill set. It seems Cass only likes shotguns. I gave her a fully repaired Brush Gun and she wouldn't equip it. Same with a fully repaired and modded Trail Carbine. So I went with the shotty. And, yes, you have to give them ammo. When they run out of ammo they will revert back to their base weapon until you give them ammo again.

Being that the AMR is Boone's type of weapon, he'd probably equip it. Give it a shot.

That was so cool! I loved how weird and spontaneous that was! I was not expecting that. My latest thing is making sure I discover every single location, H&H is a weird place. :fallout:

In my 4 hours or so of play last night I completed all of Eddie's quests at the prison, took out the NCR attack, cleaned out the Hotel at Primm, sneak killed all the residents in the casino (scoped varmint rifle), killed all the NCR over the bridge, then did the NCR quests at Mojave outpost, sneak killed all the Legion at Nipton, then sneak killed all the NCR at Mojave Outpost, only leaving Cass, the vendor and the traders outside still breathing. Lots of death an no aggro. Lots of reloading saves though to do it all with no aggro lol.

I killed a Legendary Deathclaw that was protecting

Spoiler
a set of T-45d power armor :D

It only took 4 tries, 2 blocks of C-4, a frag mine, a plasma mine, and 5 headshots from This Machine (one of which was a sneak critical).

Boone, ED-E and I went to Freeside where we met The King. We tried to find some jobs because we're low on cash after an operation to increase our Luck. We helped some people with their many problems and gained a few caps, nothing major though. Tried to parlay it into a big winning at the Atomic Wrangler but ended up losing at Roulette. sigh. Maybe next time. :)

Actually you killed THE Legendary Deathclaw. There's only one in the game. Good work.

There's also a Legendary Cazador, Nightstalker and Fire Gecko in the game. Get hunting.

I'm lvl 13, unarmed specced, I went to a cave south-west of the Ranger Station near Novac.
And what's inside?
4 deathclaws.
I hadn't saved on a real save for a while so I panicked, died and had to reload from the auto-save from when I entered the cave.
After popping every single chem in my inventory and pumping myself full of stand-by stimpacks I took them all one and won.
Then came the deathclaw alpha....
I had to reload 20 times before managing to take him down.
Since he could kill me with one hit I had to do it perfectly with the Ranger Takedown move.
Man after I cleared out that place I had used 80% of my aid section to stay alive.
Sure I lost a crapload of money doing it but it was fun and challenging as hell. :D

Took on the Legendary Deathclaw on my own with nothing but my bare hands.

Two words: Paralysing Palm.
