Adding in Darkspore to this list. Like Two worlds and Soul Calibur IV, I doubt I'll ever play it again. EXTREMLY limited content- yes, it has 100 heroes and 72 levels... but only 25 heroes and 24 levels are actually what you get; the rest are rehashed versions. Everything costs money to use (including ITEMS YOU PICK UP OFF THE GROUND) and all cutscenes play for one time only- if you skip it, you'll never be able to see it. Oh, and it has a level cap of 100.
Playing the game is a grind- it would be fun if I got paid for doing it... but I'm not.
Don't be ridiculous It's worse than DA O but it's still a pretty decent game and even if you don't think it's decent, "worst game ever created"...really?!
I don't tend to finish games I don't enjoy so I can't really think of anything...
You have to be kidding. DA:O was almost as awful as DA2. Just a slightly less embarrassing excuse for an RPG than DA2.
As cheap-looking and mediocre of an NES game as it was (it does appear worthy of an AVGN rant IMO), I actually beat Dash Galaxy in the Alien Asylum in my teen years...
Also, I'm not as fond of MegaMan 6 as I was of 2 through 5...I mean, it's not a bad game, but it's just a bit of a letdown from the awesomeness that the four MegaMan games (or "MegaMen"?) before it were...
Most people are going to disagree with you on that.
Agree, although Origins did do some things bad like clanky combat but nothing like what happened with DA2. With the exception of the improved combat (Not counting the over the top animations) and possibly the leveling up menus, DA2 was much worse, certainly not the worst game I've ever played from start to end (Divinity 2 for me comes to mind) but it's certainly not the top.
The only game I can really think of is the latest Alone in the Dark game. It isn't a terrible game all around, just muddled by technical shortfalls and awkward gameplay.
Sad. If anyone else has played the game, it was obvious the potential this one had. Heard that the later released ps3 version fared a bit better though.
I made it through 85% of DN:F before I decided that you couldn't pay me to finish it. By far the worst game ever made. I would rather play Superman 64 for the rest of my life than to play DN:F for the rest of the day.
Alpha Protocol, probably. I usually don't finish games I don't like, but I wanted to see Alpha Protocol's story (its only redeeming aspect) all the way through.
It's not a terrible game but it could've been much better than it was.
It's really that bad? I hoped to buy that at some point.
It wasn't worth the $50 I payed. It's not the worst game, it's worth a play through. The game lacks depth, the guns don't have a good feel to them. It had a good 007 feel to it though.
It's really that bad? I hoped to buy that at some point.
I heard that it is much better on the wii. They apparently made some major changes to the game while porting to the other consoles. The wii version is supposed to be much less a run and gun sort of experience.
Definitely Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, made worse by the fact that I had just finished the superior 3 a few days before. Literally every action each character took was moronic, and to date, it's the only game that's caused me physical pain (thanks to an insane button-mash).
Ah yes. You must be talking about the triangle part. My poor fingers.
I think I finished Tomb Raider Chronicles, I hated the gameplay mechanics of that game :/ I don't think the story was particularly good either, I can't remember anything special about it.
It never was good. The mechanics were horrible, and I just hated it's story. I'm of split minds about the PS3-360 version of Double Agent as well, I didnt enjoy all of the daylight missions. I prefered the night time 'try to keep stealthy' style, in the daylight was aweful >: (
Though I do admit, that mission Hong Kong (I think) at that hotel is pretty awesome to me.
