Your Thoughts on Nazeem

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:55 pm

Every time I see that low-life [censored] walking around Whiterun I feel my blood boil; Nazeem has to be for me, the single most irritating ignorant piece of garbage I have encountered in any game, cross-genre, cross-platform, cross-generation. That being said, I LOVE to hate him -- if he were removed from the game, it'd bring the value down for me. What are your thoughts on this annoying, stuck-up, nuisance of a character?

Wow, you can't say "[censored]?" What if I said I pricked my finger while picking juniper berries -- I'd be censored? LOLOLOLOL

I just ignore him now, or kill him depending on the character.

He's an arrogant a-hole who seemingy thinks that him and only him matters. Reminds me of someone I know...

:slap:.....That's what I want to do to him every time he talks to me... or talks in general actually, because he doesn't seem to have anything nice to say to anyone.

I think there needed to be more of him, honestly, because he is the sort of character you love to hate. Like a quest to steal his wife away from him, or to dig up some dirt on him.

You'd think he'd at least show some respect to a bloody Thane.

My thoughts: he's a complete tool.

My character's thoughts: buildings make him weak, bigger buildings more so. I could pummel him into ash with my fists.

I would love it if he were the target for a dark brotherhood contract.

Is the Cloud District actually the name of a night club we never get to hear about? Maybe that's what Nazeem means. And the Jarl's backside is...

I won't even go there.

Hes a bit annoying but the person I really find annoying is Lilith "have you met my friend Maven". Whats funny is that none of the other NPCs seem to like Nazeem either but hes oblivious to that.

He probably boasted so much about himself that the Radiant story system decided to have him captured by bandits. Altough I really had to think but I rescued him from the other side Of the country. Now he's back and behaving as usual.

Not as planned...

My character's morality won't allow her to brutally and painfully butcher him. So I try not to have any thoughts on Nazeem.

He's just some guy in Whiterun. Let him keep his false sense of superiority. I have dragons to fight and worlds to save.

He's never bothered me.

I have killed him in more ways than I can count, but I always reload so I can kill him again later when it strikes my fancy.

Killing him would be letting him off too easy. I let him live, forced to repeat that line forever:
"Oh no, the dragonborn approaches again! I don't want to repeat that stupid line anymore!" Do you get to the could district very often? Oh what am i saying, of course you don't. "Arrgh! I hate my existence. Won't somebody please kill me?!"

No. I won't

Nazeem is cool - a rich colored guy in the middle of Skyrim strolling round town annoying all those lowlife whitetrash Nords... What's not to love?

The only reason he is so annoying is that he simply does not correctly realize when you have become a high ranking member in the Cloud District. Like Thane. Either A) He is incredibly stupid or B ) He was not a finished character.

Or he's just one of those hard-headed uptight types who won't recognize you no matter what you do, they do exist in the real world too.

I don't really mind him. He's arrogant, but in a weirdly innocent/polite way, almost as if he doesn't realize how condescending he is. I just don't feel the kind of malevolence from him that I do with someone like Ancano.
