Your ulimate skyrim playlist?

So yes, the music in Skyrim is excellent and beautifull and really sets the scene for this epic, huge cold world full of mystery and excitement etc etc etc..

But what do you play when you grow tired of that lovely dreamy music and just want something good on in the background while you re-arrange falmer faces and spank dragons?

Lists, artists, or even just individual songs you like to play when playing Skyrim would be good!
It'd be interesting if you could state why that song in particular, or if you have certain music for when you're doing certain things in the world!

I've had far too much mountain dew.

I'm not tired of the music.... in fact, it makes me feel as if every game since the first is still alive and well in Skyrim - and that feeling only grows after I've been playing some Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion.

But nothing beats the game music [Sovngarde. Seriously]. The previously mentioned groups remind me of Skyrim but I almost never play any music when I play Skyrim.

I like basically all the songs by Disturbed - Indestructible really fits it in, but almost all of them get me in a fighting mood :D lol

I'm on PS3 and I was hoping to listen to some reggae and jazz whilst cruising around Skyrim but it doesn't let me listen to the music on there whilst playing a game. Pretty lame. I also do find it slightly disorientating to not have the 'here comes another damn wolf' music when the [censored] is about to hit the fan.

Albums I would reccomend trying would be Christian Scott- Rewind That for doing some exploring and ingredient collecting. And Easy Star All Stars - First Light for heading out on a mission. Probably followed up by some Between The Buried And Me once the swords start flying.

I almost managed to keep a straight face whilst writing this, but not quite. However I respect your tastes, and I guess you're right, anything orchestral is good for this game. Apocalyptica also works well

It fits perfectly. Especially if you're playing with a much loved companion. And drunk, of course.

EDIT: I just realised I had that song on repeat for well over ten minutes. Pull that sort of stunt again sir and an arrow through the knee will be the least of your worries!
