Can someone tell me why I cant get her Tusk quest? Im wanting to marry her and I can't because I haven't done her quest!!!

Man, I've done that little odd job so long ago I don't remember how it went down. I checked the strategy guide and it doesn't explain anything.

However, the wiki says if the Dragonborn's Speech skill is at level 100, you will not be able to complete the quest. It also says "Sometimes the Dragonborn will find that Ysolda will not offer her quest. This happens if the Dragonborn has an active quest with Lami, Captain Aldis, Rustleif, Siddgeir, or Torbjorn Shatter-Shield; upon completion of any of their quests Ysolda's quests becomes available again."

The wiki also says "If you find a mammoth tusk before accepting her quest to find one it may not come up at all".

I don't know if that helps you but those are few of the minor bugs that can inhibit the quest according to the Skyrim Wiki.

Do you have any of the following quests active?
-Bring The Mirror to Aldis
-Bring Song of the Alchemists to Lami
-Bring Night Falls on Sentinel to Rustleif
-Bring Black-briar Mead to Siddgeir
-Bring Amulet of Arkay to Torbjorn Shatter-Shield

If you do, you can't start Ysolda's mammoth tusk quest because her quest and the ones above are the Rare Gifts radiant quest and only one can be active at a time. You can find more info on the uesp wiki page on rare gifts

I had that happened. I had a mammoth tusk, but no dialog from Ysolda. I ened up given the tusk to a jeweler in Riften. After getting rid of the tusk, the dialog showed up with Ysolda.

I knew about them and no I don't have any of them. my speech is 73 so I'm good on that!!!

I assumes you have talked to her about the Khajiit traders?

I generally get this quests as soon as I first go to Whiterun, on my way to talk to the Jarl about the dragon. Never had issues with it.

Yeah I've talked with her about that. Me either I've always got it, but not this time around!
