I see I'm not the only one who thinks the shops need more cash in.

Considering his bleak reviews of both Morrowind and Oblivion, I was expecting a thrashing for Skyrim since these open world games don't seem to be his cup of tea.

Instead, he... Applauds it.

WHAT A TWEEST!

First game this year Yahtzee has even come close to liking.

Also, it's not a review, it's a critic commentary.

Wow!
BF, CoD etc must be really bad for Yahtzee to even hint at enjoying an RPG. Wonder if Godzilla can walk backwards, what with his big tail and all?

You are obviously not familiar with his work otherwise you would know that there are other games which he likes and that this review actually doesn't prize it too much (remember that he said that the game has a lot of flaws also).
Only game which has no flaws according to him (and I agree on this one) is Portal.
Also, how do you expect him to list all the flaws Skyrim has in just 5 minutes?
It would need 5 hours at least. :P

Finally. I love how at the end he mentioned the game needs a hardcoe survival mode. He make a good point about the rebellion thing falling to the wayside, as often as it's brought up by npc's it doesn't seem to actually effect much.

Awesome as ever

Finish off the Thieves Guild quests, the woman at the end holds 4k not that there is much use for money anyway

This. Too much essentials is a little too much for me. Kinda hope they're going to fix this post the main quest.

I've done the whole Thieves Guild quest line and it wasn't enough for all the loots I had to sell. I think I had around 80 000 worth of items before the game started crashing on me. I haven't been able to play Skyrim for days now.

I see I'm not the only one who thinks the shops need more cash in.

The low amount of gold is supposed to encourage you to take the speech perks that allow you to invest in stores and give more money to merchants, but everyone knows nobody takes those perks. I always resolve the issue by playing "barter" with the NPC. I'll train skills or buy things like grand soul gems with grand souls, a bunch of arrows, or potions in order to raise their money high enough to buy what I'm trying to sell them. Yeah, I get less profit out of it, but I get things I'm going to need anyway out of it.

BTW, thanks for sharing the yahtzee, I was going to see if he'd posted a "review" yet but kept forgetting. Good to see in general he agrees with me.. tons of bugs and glitches, some of them game breaking but in general you have so much fun that you can overlook them, while many of the non game breaking glitches become endearing.

His videos are funny but they aren't usually informative. They aren't really reviews either, more like commentary.

Wow, that really isn't exactly what I would call a glowing review. It's like he thought it's biggest plus was that it's not like other games coming out right now.

Funny how he compliments the game for not having "hand holding" while it's a common complaint around here.

Of course he compares it to piperun FPS', so it's just a viewpoint difference ^_^

But inaccurate. It's exactly the same as calling Fox News "journalism", which it's not.
