Somethings up. I literally cannot believe some of the stuff that Microsoft is reported as saying and doing. I get the outcry from the DRM system they're implementing, but I truly think that a lot of these media sites are A) Over-blowing the situation B ) Exaggerating or twisting info or C) the Illuminati is involved (jk). It just seems weird that they would act the way they are (ie. the "Deal with it" Twitter, the "Just buy a 360" response to online, the blatant ignorance towards fan outcry).

As much as one may not like to admit it, they do know what they are doing...usually. They always turn a hefty profit (which = success for a business) in whatever they do. So I just can't understand what the hell is going on with this Xbox One? Maybe I'm paranoid, but something doesn't seem right. They must realize that they could solve so many problems just by terminating the 24 hour check-in, or get rid of the used game crap. Yet they do nothing.

I'm not explaining myself well at all. What I mean is; Microsoft is making mistake after mistake. They are also a large enough company that they should be able to see these mistakes and do something to correct them. Yet, they do nothing but give smart-ass remarks ("just buy a 360 if you have no internet") or pull stupid stunts (the Reddit thing, if its actually true). This doesn't make sense from the standpoint of a business. They are willingly shooting themselves in the foot and are risking a sizable chunk of the Xbox franchise. In other words, their behavior makes zero sense. My belief is that they plan to "fix" everything last minute in the hopes of a giant lump of sales during the holidays.

But I still can't help but feel that the situation really isn't that bad, that news outlets are twisting the situation to cash in on the hate train. If a news site reported something good about Microsoft right now, they would probably get accused of being paid off. So, it's best to just focus on the negatives. This is purely speculation, though.

Also because Mass Effect 3 was a VERY enjoyable experience for me all around, so Bioware has redeemed itself a smidgeon in my eyes, enough for one more shot, and The Elder Scrolls Online looks very interesting.
