Abraham Lincon > Dawnguard

It already does more damage according to your one-handed skill.

And there is a mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11822 that allows you to improve it on a grinding wheel, all the way to Legendary if your smithing skill is high enough. Currently playing an Argonian who uses a deadly poisoned woodcutter's axe.
It's still not very strong.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was written by Seth Grahame-Smith
who also wrote Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and How to Survive a Horror Movie

i thought the movie was well done

The movie was good (Although it felt like they continually skipped through the story) and using an Axe to kill Vamps is insane...but i did kill a frost dragon with a dinner knife so...it is possible

Out of all the people in history or fictional characters they could have made they choose honest abe. He is probably turning over in his grave right now.
I'm not from the US but when I learned about the existence of this movie I lolled.

What next? Leonardo DaVinci a free mason and templar? Oh, wait... <_<

Had an appetite that big, huh?

That should be a new quote guards make in Skyrim. "By the divines, I've been on my shift for too long. I'm so hungry I could eat a dragon."

Note: If any of you guys want to make a movie about me after I die wherein you depict me as an axe-wielding badass fighting monsters from hell, you have my explicit permission to do so.

The movie was good. I find it funny how many people think it's silly, though. We've gone through decades of historical fiction and now people want to get upset.

I sense ... something.

Also, the movie was really fun. I pity anyone who dismisses it because they think they're above silly premises or something.

It had a better love story than Twilight to boot.
i'll admit, i read the twilight books. i liked them for a one-time read and the movies butchered them. but i still have to admit, a dog pooping on a lawn is a better love story than twilight. and has more action.

There could be people who actually feast upon the blood and crave it's metallic goodness. Perhaps there was a variant of Bath Salts in his time? LOL!
I expect a sequel. Barrack Obama: Zombie Slayer.

Should have gone with Theodore Roosevelt. At least then they could claim it was based on a true story.

I heard the movie wasn't all that great, but IDK maybe they're wrong. Oh, and in real life Abe wasn't that great of a person he was actually a tyrant. He imprisoned people in the north for talking bad about the Civi war which is violation of the first addmentment.

Also, he didn't care if slavery was abolished, he just wanted it to be so north would be happy, and sence they were stronger then the south. He would have easier time getting the country together.

I guess he did it for the good but he went a bit overboard with it. I think slavery would of ended eventually, this has happened with many civilizations throughout history. He did some more bad things, but nothing I can think on top of my head.

If you read a letter by Abe to Horace Greeley. You will see that Abe only want to free slaves so he could save the country. If you read carefully, you will see that if he could save the Union without freeing slaves he would.

The first part of Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in southern states, not border states. This was chosen so the confeds would be weakened. If Abe cared to free all slaves he would of prob done it in first place. After awhile he then let all slaves be free so there wouldn't be any revolts after the war, because only few states had slaves this would cause complications.
