I am currently experiencing an aiming related bug in first person, and a possible bug in third person. In first person my character's arms and gun will move to different positions, mostly when I'm in sneak mode, but not always. It just seems as if my character is trying to hold the gun over their head or down by their knees for some reason. I can't even see anything but the tip of the barrel when it's so low, and it just looks ridiculous when it's too high. What's really bad is when it goes up just high enough to block my view when aiming. I can't even see what I'm trying to shoot at. In third person, I don't experience the gun moving around, but it seems like the reticule is not in the same place as it was when in first person. It's like it's too far to the left or right (can't remember which) and all of my shots are off unless I compensate. So really, there's no way to avoid this glitch if you use Guns or Energy Weapons, and it's been happening to me since I got the game on release day, so I've been forced to play Unarmed and Melee characters to avoid it. I don't know if these bugs have been reported yet or not, and if they have I apologize.
Not sure about the third person thing, since i just dont play in third person mode, but the weapon position bug in the first person mode is very annoying. I'm having this issue too, and I'm wondering why so few have this bug... Does everyone have this bug and just dont care or is this some rare issue that happens only to a few ppl?
I have finished new vegas on PC, without this issue, so it's only xbox360 related... maybe some specific version? anyone have a clue if it happens on all NTSC-U, PAL, NTSC-J consoles and so on? Or if it's going to be fixed on the next patch? I dont see anything about a fix of this issue comming in the new patch.. only some weapon damage/rate/firepower tweaks, or some quest-related bugs being fixed, but not a word about this specific issue.
Does anyone have some info on that? The game is completely broken for those who have this thing happening...
sorry about my bad english.
