This might've been posted but I cannot see it so.......

Armsman
-One-handed weapons do 20% more damage. (5 ranks)

Bone Breaker
-Attacks with maces ignore 25% of armor. (3 ranks)

Bladesman
-Attacks with swords have a 10% chance of doing critical damage. (3 ranks)

Hack and Slash
-Attacks with war axes cause extra bleeding damage. (3 ranks)

Fighting Stance
-Power attacks with one-handed weapons cost 25% less stamina.

Critical Charge
-Can do a one-handed power attack while sprinting that does double critical damage.

Savage Strike
-Standing power attacks do 25% bonus damage with a chance to decapitate your enemies.

Paralyzing Strike
-Backwards power attack has a 25% chance to paralyze the target.

Dual Flurry
-Dual wielding attacks are 20% faster. (2 ranks)

Dual Savagery
-Dual wielding power attacks do 50% bonus damage.

I wonder: does "Armsman" still have effect if you're dual-wielding? Or! Must you only wield a single weapon for it to take affect? :spotted owl:

Would like to know the answer to this as well as I'm planning on a dual-wielding character.

It just says "One handed weapons do more damage".

It does not say "Holding one weapon causes you do deal more damage" so it will work when dual wielding.

I think this perk:

Dual Flurry
-Dual wielding attacks are 20% faster. (2 ranks)

Could make dual wielding a very powerful blitz like attack

Out of all of them the Crit Chance for swords sounds best. Crit=Win.

yeah I had this list a while ago too but I didn't post it.. I wasn't sure what everyone has already seen since it has been a long time since we had updates from sammu. I told you guys dual wielding was going to be awesome sauce if you worked hard enough at it.

Good perks, I hope Daggers are considered swords so that they get that bonus Critical hit damage.

They're not. In fact if I recall correctly One-Handed Mastery specifically excludes daggers in its description, but that may have changed since Sammu wrote it down. But daggers are primarily stealth weapons. Their benefit is doing a lot more critical damage than other ones.

I had assumed there would be and they seem functional if a bit odd. I am not sure why you would swing your main hand more often if you have a weapon in your off hand than you would if you had nothing in your off hand. But I guess they fill the disappointing to me game mechanic of dual wielding being all offense all the time.

Dual wielding's defense is its fast damage rate. In other words, the way to take minimal damage while dual wielding is to kill the enemy as fast as possible, giving them a smaller window of opportunity to hit you.

I really like the depth of this tree. I hope the other trees are built so well.
(The original thread not only lists these perks, but gives a layout of the perk tree)

A dual-wield longsword/shortsword/anything that gets the upgrade perks (not daggers) being fully upgraded would be a real damage machine up close.

30% crit chance is absolutely insane since it shakes out to 60% with dual wielding. At 60% crit chance and high skill with high-end custom forged and enchanted weaponry nothing in the game could stand against you.

So dual wielding swords looks like a good idea... you've got 30% to crit, a charge that does doubtle critical damage and a 50% bonus to power attacks :hehe:
And not to mention whatever enchants and buffs you can stack before that, kinda opeinging up to this DW buisness

A magic shield won't even be necessary if you become effective enough to be able to take out most enemies before they have a chance to hit you a lot. Or even better yet, kill them before they even have a chance to hit you at all.

Jesus...this perks are incredibly overpowered!! Double critical damage?! !00% damage after 5 perks!?
I'm guessing the early stages will be quite difficult and the later stages will improve drastically, or this game will be pathetically easy.

Apparently they aren't. But daggers do get this... Assassin's Blade - Sneak attacks with daggers do 15x damage

i dont know, i think the perks for swords maces and axes are rather equal in terms of power. I mean go up against someone in light armour and Sword will most likely out class maces and axes by a large amount, but go up against someone with heavy armour and then suddenly you need those crits because your your going to hit like a wet noodle while those mace shots ignore 75% amrour. Axes i think are the all around jack of all trades perks as im guessin that the bleed damage will be unresistable and not hampered by armour
