Dispatched at 10:37 this morning according to Amazon UK. Hope it fares better than the kindle which I bought as an early xmass present for my mum and which I found wedged/jammed into my mailbox this morning, postman didn't even bother to ring the bell. No excuses as the package clearly marked kindle in big letters all over so obviously fragile. Same thing happened with a pair of glasses last week.

Wow, your postman sounds like a royal [censored]. Ours just usually opens the door, that's right, and plops whatever it is inside the house. Creepy but effective.

Still no shipping emails or texts from them. I wonder if I will get it on Friday

Anyone else hear anything from them?

The status on my account changed to "Shipping Soon" over night. I'm not sure what the heck that means ... but it is a change in the status I guess.

That's Royal Fail for you, they just don't give a damn. If only they didn't have the monopoly on mail delivery, then they might be forced to up their standards.

I trust Amazon, they've always been on time with release date shipping every time I've used it. However, I don't trust UPS. They've taken my packages to the wrong places, and one time I swear the driver kept a pair of shoes I ordered (UPS had to buy me a new pair and the driver got fired).

So as long as UPS is on their game and doesn't send an idiot driver (or thief) then I'll be enjoying Skyrim around lunch time tomorrow. :celebration:

Fixed that for you.
Some of us that got "shipped status" yesterday for 1st class, haven`t received it, while others have. I would say it`s down to the individual RM service in your area more than anything.

Indeed. Beyond Amazon's control really, although for one day delivery, they really should be using a courier (and used to as well).
