I wouldn't hold my breathe for a tomorrow delivery date from Amazon but they may yet prove me wrong, never had a game arrive early regardless of the dispatch date from there. I have Amazon prime so I know for a fact that mine won't dispatch until tomorrow at 11 as that's the way they do it for prime what with the guarantee'd delivery and all. So if you are on Amazon Prime don't sweat but it won't come till Friday

I can get it here in Belgian shops since yesterday but I don't want to pay the extra Euro

Do you literally mean 1 extra euro?

mine is estimated to arrive on the 14th, I pre-ordered months ago but i went for free super saver delivery. Damn my stingy ways

I use super saver for almost all my orders, but I was not going to save ￡1.69 to get the game 3 days late. Just think that's 56p a day to play the game 3 days early....sorry to rub it in

Yeah, I'm talking to some friends and they've also got not yet dispatched. My estimated delivery date is the 11th - 14th.

On the pre-order "guidance" page (for Skyrim at least), it was stated that "1st class" should be picked to "guarantee release day delivery", which was ￡1.69 and goes through Royal Mail (afaik). As they've already processed a lot of pre-orders and have been despatching them throughout the evening, I don't know how reliable picking 1st class *NOW* would be...

I got my "Dispatched" e-mail at about 10am today (11.30pm now) , and it's being sent first-class with the Royal Mail, so im hoping that it will come tomorrow.

Not overly bothered if i have to wait one more day though, got BF3 + MW3 to fill the gap until Skyrim!

OMFG i just checked that everything was ok and realized it was set to first class instead of expedited crap! thats why!! jeez! I swear i had picked expedited.

That's not really the point. First class orders should be arriving on the 11th too. Amazon 'guaranteed' it.

No I don't (I don't care for one euro).

On amazon.co.uk it costs me about 46 euro but in Belgian shops they charge 60-70 euro most of the time.
Maybe I could get it almost as cheap in Dutch online shops, but from amazon I know they deliver relatively fast and the other shops take a lot longer most of the time.

mine got dispatched at around half 8pm today .. i live only a few miles from the nearest Amazon centre so I am expecting it tomorrow!!!! (Well, today because it is 00:01am for me right now!)

It's good that England seems to have a decent online store that doesn't rip people off and give gamers from the continent the chance to pay a fair price for a game. Although from what I understand Australlia and New Zealand have it worse than anyone

If it's still like that tomorrow, give their customer support a ring (or e-mail them) , and see if they could put things right.

No problem, I guess it wasn't that clear either with the plural of the euro being euro (officially, although I guess almost everybody says euros).

I am ordering in the UK for quite some time now, the difference in price is just to big to not order online. You do have to wait somewhat longer however.
I had the same thing with Forza 4 some weeks ago, but I guess the few extra days won't matter that much anymore (although I have a long weekend this weekend, but what can you do).

I changed the delivery to expedited then back again to first class as i thought it had to be on expedited.............. i literally just took out a 12 gauge and shot myself in the left foot.

Anyone else just got the email saying their copy of Skyrim has been dispatched from Amazon UK? The child in me is telling me it's coming tomorrow but the part that isn't stupid is bringing me down. :sadvaultboy:

What your opinion on it? Is it "Dispatched but waiting to go." or is it "Dispatched, in the truck, driver has a coffee - Better set the alarm tomorrow."?

I did, I live pretty close to a mail distribution centre, so I often get stuff early. I'm on PC though so I won't be able to play it until late at night, but it would be nice to install it ready for Friday.

I was stupid and fell into the Amazon Prime auto-subscribe trap. So all my amazon prime products are next day delivery for free. ;D So all my fingers are crossed.
