Anyone else just got the email saying their copy of Skyrim has been dispatched from Amazon UK? The child in me is telling me it's coming tomorrow but the part that isn't stupid is bringing me down.

What your opinion on it? Is it "Dispatched but waiting to go." or is it "Dispatched, in the truck, driver has a coffee - Better set the alarm tomorrow."?

Mine too, but chances are dispatched tonight, ship tomorrow, arrive Friday.

It'll be taken to the national sorting hub overnight. Depending how far from you this is, many people will receive it tomorrow, but more realistically Friday - it'll either go straight from the national hub to your local sorting hub overnight too (they can be pretty efficient with that for 1st class stuff), or that'll be done tomorrow and then from your nearest sorting hub to you on Friday

(edit: that's regarding UK post anyway - and yes it's 22:10 in the UK atm to the poster below )

Yes, 10:10pm. It will arrive tomorrow for ~80%. Mark my words and judge me by them

I ordered on the 30th of July (couldn't decide if my PC would handle it so I left it a few months), and I'm in Edinburgh.

Mine has been dispatched and Arrival Scan is scheduled tomorrow at 13:00. So if I was lucky like you lot and I lived on the mainland I MAY have had a chance at getting it tomorrow. But unfortunately I'm in the Channel Islands so it'll be a day later no matter what happens. Oh well, at least I'm getting it on the day of release, I suppose. First class.

I placed my order on Amazon UK 2nd September. Selected 1st class post (as Amazon recommended this option to "guarantee" release date delivery - cost ￡1.69 for 1st class on Skyrim). About noon the order changed to "despatching soon", and then at 20:21 got the despatch email. Should receive it tomorrow (in West Yorkshire - post tends to go from the national hub to the Leeds hub within hours, so I should be receiving it tomorrow!).

I've seen people receiving their "despatched" notification throughout the evening - so if you've got yours ordered on Amazon, keep an eye on your emails over the next few hours! (I've had despatch notices from Amazon as late as about 2AM before - and received the delivery 8 hours later)

Ordered mine 12th June and its not yet dispatched. Getting more worried by the minute.

I ordered it fro amazon uk because it was 10€ cheaper ( I live in Germany) but I cancelled it today and bought it directly from steam because I couldn't take the chance that it would be late. now its already preloaded and waiting for activation!

Mine was sent yesterday by first class, it did not arrive today. There's a pretty good chance I'll still get it on thursday though.

The only email I've had today is telling me my next Lovefilm rentals are on the way. So at least I'll have something to watch this weekend
Amazon's still saying "Not yet dispatched - estimated delivery 11 Nov 2011. I ordered for the PC on Oct 25th with prime delivery to central London.

I ordered mine on Amazon US, but it'll be shipped on the 14th only and arrive between the 16th and 18th. But yeah, as I live in Japan I prefer this date rather than December 8. I really wanna cry though. It's becoming harder and harder to resist giving in to the temptation of watching spoiler free videos on youtube.... And this very night, I had a dream about the last video I watched... Isn't that sad

My copy of MW3 got despatched by Amazon UK 2 days before release... and arrived the next day

my dispatch estimate is tomorrow but I usually get it the next day as I live 20 min from a Amazon hub so hopeful
