V.A.T.S. and consoles

I'm sure it was on the bug list and never got prioritized into an actual patch. Those are the types of things that usually get fixed in follow-up releases, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's fixed in NV. As far as firing somebody...nah. These are the kinds of decisions that have to be made. Companies choose not to address certain bugs all the time.

But its not like its a small bug that could of been missed so it should of never made it to the final product. And okay maybe not fired but that person should get yelled at or something I guess.

It might not have been missed. Sometimes developers will decide that the negative impact of a certain bug doesn't justify the amount of time it would take to fix it. I guess what I'm saying is that it might not have been a mistake. Sometimes developers have to sacrifice certain features and bug fixes because they need to make room in their schedule/budget for other things. Sad, but true.

VATS is an integral part of the game just because you don't like it doesn't mean it should be disabled from the game altogether.

Maybe not disabled altogether since obviously there are people who like it. But there should at least be the option to turn it off for those of us who don't.

There is, unbind it from any key. Done.

Keyboard == fix
Controller == not

You can't unbind from a key, all you can do is move the assignment from one to another. There's no option for selecting no keys at all. At least that's not the case in Fallout 3. Fortunately I found a mod for that game, completely by accident, that disabled it for me. Otherwise I would have been stuck with it and my only option would have been self restraint.

I've never had a problem with vats, maybe when killing the giant ants, it can take a little extra effort to get a head shot, but other than that no problem.
