My animated .gif isn't animating.

It works! It works! It's alive!

I'm afraid it doesn't seem to do anything for me. What are we supposed to see? I'm using Chrome.

:( That is going to annoy the hell out of me.

I switch them out every one to two months... ... bear... with it?

(Queue groan.)

It takes a while for the server to sync something, or something.

It wouldn't have uploaded at all if it was too big.
Wrong, you can upload images larger than 90x120, the forum software will just resize it. (It's the resizing process that breaks the animated gifs since it saves the smaller image as .png)

That's not what happened with my last avatar, it was a normal .jpg and it wouldn't load because it was to big and needed resized - same happened for the .gif I was going to use recently

Yep. It needs to be synced over the BSF servers. :)

I've never been able to get mine working either. It should switch between 3 different images, but it's static. :(

It reminds me of this : http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk114/shepard199/flashing20colors.gif except with people.

**View with caution of you are subject to epilepsy**

Animated avatars that could induce epileptic seizures are prohibited. These include simulated strobe flashes or negative/positive reversals, fields of bright red, illusions of continuous motion in black and white or bright colors, and flashing at a frequency of 4 Hz (4 strongly contrasting changes per second) or greater. Again, if you are in doubt a PM to a moderator first is advisable.

Ow :bonk:
Agh, there should be a seizure warning to go along with that.
I once had a power point using that for a class project, and it didn't go so well with all the people. :)

I'm fine with flashing colours, just the way I have my screens set up it appeared on all 3 and full sized, I went outside

The width of the original image is probably larger than 90, I'll fix it if you post the original.

It's 94px × 63px and works on Photobucket. I can download it to my PC and it animates if opened in IE/Firefox. As soon as I upload it, it goes static. I've even tried direct linking to no avail. (Used to work on older forums.)

P.S.

I made it 90x60 but it still didn't work.

P.S.

I tired making it 90x60 but it still didn't work.

Did you test the resized one to see if it works in a browser?

Days - a few minutes. That is not allowed as it could induce seizures.
