this quest bugged for me too, but on a different stage. google research found many people with the same problem...

When you do that it prevents you from ever completing it. Thats your problem...You cheated...

I haven't had anything gamebreaking as of yet, the only glitch/bug that has made me angry involves weapon racks. I put my ghostblade on one in my house in whiterun and I came home one day and it's vanished. Completely gone with no trace of it. I wanted to rage hard because i loved that sword so much because of how unique it is.

This is so full of win.

I get stuck at the crafting stations a lot. It is like the ending animation never plays to release me from them when I close the menu.

I learned the hard way to save before I use any of them.

I fell through the ground once but was able to break in someones house because of it. Best bug ever!

I couldn't complete the "Revealing the Unseen" quest, or whatever it's called, either. The guy just stood there and I must have searched that house for a good half hour before giving up and reloading a previous save :\

I also got stuck between a steep hill and the side of a house only about an hour after my first time playing the game. I couldn't move or anything, I had to load a previous game. But I would definitely consider these gamebreaking bugs, if you save in a situation like this, there's no possible way of continuing.. is there? That's why I save a lot.

So I'm trying to complete the Companions quest Rescue Mission, only Ennis wasn't in the cave, he was already back Rorikstead. Not only that but he accused me of stealing a goat (assuming it's a different quest) and the Rescue Mission quest won't finish. More over the console command "completequest" won't work here because I don't know the quest ID. Any suggestions?

Also the same thing has happened in the main quest line with escort Esband back to Riverwood. The quest doesn't finish even though he's in Riverwood in the tavern wandering about.

The PS3 version, at least, has, presumably, some caching or memory leak problem resulting in the game's performance going downhill, rapidly, once a certain saved data file size is reached.

That's what I was thinking when I read his post. I distinctly remember brawling with him with fists only.

I have a real gamebreaker too... I'm working on getting the two sides to get a temp truce and I can't talk to Ulfric Stormcloak, because he says his steward has something for me to do... but I can't talk to him either T-T

During my first session I managed to break the game 5 minutes into the opening by running ahead of Ralof up the spiral staircase. I got to the part where Alduin shoots flame through a hole in the tower wall and his animation started glitching to where he was repeatedly sticking his head through the hole in the tower. Ralof wouldn't run any further and I had to reload from just after character creation.

I haven't run into anything major since then though.

I'm having gamebreaking issues with Revealing the Unseen as well. I get all the way to the Aedrome and there is no beam of light coming into the Oculary. I've tried all times of the day and even waited for starry nights. From what I can see in these forums and through google, this is a definite bug. I cannot complete the quest because of it.
