Just curious, has anyone come across any gamesas standard gameshattering bugs?

So far I'm just getting some lagging, I think a sabre cat glitched into the ground once, but i'm not sure, I've had some looping dialogue and I've crashed twice. Which is no problem, a restart and I'm good to go, I'm on PS3 though, because my rig isnt good enough to run skyrim on high settings and I'd rather not neuter the game to play it.

So has there been any really big bugs? I've heard of animals getting stuck on top of trees, things in houses and such getting thrown about upon entering/exiting the cell and one youtube video showing a chunk error, a memory leak issue. I think theres one other thing I'm forgetting.

But has anyone really had any huge issues? So far I'm really impressed by Skyrim. Key words, So far, I fully exppect to find more gltiches as I go along, I've only spent 20 something hours on it.

Yes. for me I cant join the companions guild because its bugged. they ask me to duel with the guy, I do it and I win but nothing happens. I check the quest log and it still wants me to duel with him. If I just stand there hitting him with my sword he loses hp, kneels down, stands back up and I can just hit him again. Ive gained 3 levels from doing this and a ton of one handed training. I can even train my destruction spells on him for more free exp. But I really would like to join the guild so I can do the were wolf quest... Sigh

some quests bug andu need a reload, if you follow the golden rule of RPGs ( save often) this doesnt effect u

I have loaded every auto save I have and ran back there all with the same outcome.. The only other hardsave I have is near when I first started the game, even before killing my first dragon.. Id lose over 5k gold if I loaded that which [censored] svcks man. I think I just need to cut my losses though

Nothing game-breaking so far. Only very minor issues such as dragon skeletons falling out of the sky in a random place. Although, Mudcrabs are really strong this time around. I like it

-Can't complete the "Revealing the Unseen" quest

-Can't unlock dragon shouts

-Can't open a few doors

-Magicka bonuses don't work in combat (ruined my mage character)

But I'm still playing Skyrim. Why? Because with all the bugs, it's still a blast.

I have a problem fighting Anduin where he just hangs in the sky and doesnt land- I take him down to zero health but nothing happens so basically i cant do the main quest until i do a re-load.

For me it was the beginning................I followed the Imperial guy and was stuck on the next quest. I made a new character and followed the stormcloak guy and the questline worked for me.

That is terrible.

OT the only broken quest I've found the shrine of boethia. I made my companion use the alter of sacrifice or whatever and I killed her but nothing happened.

Kinda. I can't even start the quest "Blood on the ice". There's no dead body. Many are having this problem, so I am waiting for a patch.

I've had 3 seperate playthroughs ruined mostly quest progression bugs.
One happened during a mage college quest where the necessary spells wouldn't work, the next one wasn't game breaking i suppose but it definitely ruined MY experience,

I was a male High Elf using mostly destruction magic and people started referring to me as "Her" and "Sword-Sister" and a "Wanted women" at which point I quit and then proceeded to now make my very bulky male Orc.

The third happened during another playthrough in which I could not kill an NPC who had to be killed despite being given a sword and told to by General Tullius after the fight.

I've had many many quest bugs besides these (even in my current playthrough) for example when my horse stomped the character I needed to collect an item off of into the ground (I guess he fell into nothingness).

With the dragon shouts, are you sure your pressing the right button? It's "R" on the PC to spend a soul, "[ ]" on the PS3 and I'm assuming "B" on the 360.

Wow people are having a ton of issues. o.o I've been playing on PC and haven't had a single bug so far...

Wierd, joined without a problem---BTW-don't use an enchanted weapon for the duel. Worked flawlessly for me (PC) So it's bugged for you for some reason.

The only gamebreaking bug I have to deal with is...

only one gamebreaker for me so far. Didnt get immunity from disease from lycanthopy and became a vampire as well. Used beast form sometime after and lost the ability to feed as a vampire. Basically restorted to lowering my level and spamming harmony at every town that reacts hostilely to me.

Nothing...yet! I'm playing on PS3 and it's doing fine. I almost had a crash in the beginning when the girl was calling me up. But all I had to do was wait. I just hope I don't have any lag or anything else.

I had two CTDs. That is all. The game runs smooth and any bugs I think more most people are minor. I do hope bethesda spends a lot of time and effort patching their masterpiece.

There is a major bug. At the beginning of the game im sentenced to death but a dragon interupts my execution. Being a law abiding citizen I sought out imperials to continue the execution, but it doesnt let me. I was determined to head to cyrodil and be executed there but the game bugs out and wont let me past the mountains

I've had an infinite bounty of 300 some gold in Solitude.

Every time I would talk to a guard, he'd arrest me. I've tried paying them off, and going to jail. Yet, even though I did nothing, I still have a bounty of 300.
