Anyone else wish Skyrim were an MMO?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 2:51 am

The thought of exploring dungeons and exploring with other people has big appeal factors. Maybe I feel more apart of a world in an MMO as opposed to single player experiences? Anyone else?

NO

TES has always been a single player experience. If it becomes a MMO.... then it will not be special.

No. TES is a single player series, there will never be online play.

NO!
It'll be the day the game die..

I don't wish anyone breaks my immersion by doing stupid and childish things like the ones we found on WOW. Oh and we have to pay a monthly subscription fee and we have to kinda grind levels?

No, not Skyrim per se, but an MMO set in the Elder Scrolls setting without any particular driving story would be cool. But no, not Skyrim itself. Definitely a single-player game through and through.

No. If I wanted an MMO I would go back to playing WoW.

Not at all, it wouldn't have 10% of the features it has if it were. It would also have 1000% more annoyances (i.e. other people).

Hell no. I'm rubbish at this game (and most other games) - my own shame at my lack of skill is enough for me, I don't need others pointing it out.

If Skyrim were an MMO I wouldn't be able to mod it. Modding is what sets these games apart from all other games.

YES, well maybe not the whole game, but it would be nice if there was an online arena dlc or something so we could interact and fight other players when we are taking a break from single player, not convert the whole game though.

I think the word you might've been looking for was Co-Op. If I could bring another friend or two in the game to explore dungeons with, I'd be down as [censored].

Nope. Don't get me wrong, I like MMOs and I have played quite a bit of them over the years...but TES has always been my go to series when I need a break and explore a world on my own terms.

Yeah it would be awesome as an MMO. I would love to see idiots running around, talking like 2 year olds (ruining game lore), and then of course there would be cheaters, and players ganging each other at every possible moment. No thanks, I see enough of that [censored] in the real world.

As much as I would love more intelligent NPC's and better interaction, an MMO is not the way to go.
