Anyone want your own mech?

No really, this is real.

For approximately 1.3 million USD for the base model, you can own your own mech.

This thing shoots "an unruly 6000 bb's per minute" which is activated by smiling(WHY!? Do you think you could stop smiling if you were blasting bbs everywhere?). Also shoots water bottles that from time to time hit the target. Has a diesel engine and reaches speeds of 10 km/h.

That was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I love human ingenuity.

Living on an island as they do, you'd think the thing was amphibious..

Also, it's a diesel engine that runs on gasoline? When does that ever get useful?

Not to mention the questionable lethality at an arsenal that fires BBs and water bottles.. sure you're the hit of any seventh grade school yard, but as far as practical warfare applications I have to hold some reserves about it.

Might be multi-fuel. The Chieftain tank had one of those things.

Japannia

I don't think this would catch on as a warfare thing, maybe as a security guard or a greeter at a bank or something. I think the most likely use for this would be in factories and such like for heavy lifting. Maybe it could also be a rescue machine to rescue people in earthquakes and such like - it could lift rubble and stuff off people.
