Reading some of the backstory about the East Coast BoS and the Outcasts was what pushed me from simply waiting for FO3 with tentative optimism to HOLY HELL I WANT THIS GAME NOW. Sadly, they didn't really go anywhere with the storyline in the game proper, and going back west means no Outcasts or Elder Lyons.

I think Megaton was one of the most depressing towns in the game actually. Now, Andale... Andale was the warmest town in the game, no question. Such friendly people there.
Yup, they always invite people passing by for dinner. No wonder they always win the contest for best town of the state.
Now if only they got rid of that old man creeping out visitors...

I'm not gonna miss a thing from FO3. In fact, once FNV is out I'm gonna pretend FO3 never existed :mellow:

If I miss anything, it will be Nuka Grenades.
I loved those things...
But an M79 is cool, too. I've been using one in FO3 as a mod for quite a while now, so I was happy to see it make the game this time around.
RL3 was an awesome follower, and had IMO some of the best lines in the game. But, I'm sure with the updated companion system it won't be too big of a deal... I make new friends easily.
