Are vampires a bit dumb ?

Ugh, no subforum is safe from the Godhead idea. Get back from the fourth wall, stop chatting with M'aiq (Vivec in disguise) and sit down.

The sun is pointless in the TES universe, magic does everything.

Really the only thing it does is hurt Vampires and make it easier to see.

The sun is massive hole which allows magic to flow into Mundus. So if magic does everything, it's really not pointless.

People could still eat seafood also the vampires in Dawnguard probably don't think in the moment or how the actions might affect other because they are immortal and have all eternity to contemplate what they did.

if nirn is the future earth. maybe alduin came and ended ours. if you think about it, the thing with dragons trying to destroy or enslave mankind really reflects revalations a little

There also the stars which also allow magic to enter Mundus.

The real twist is the fact that the entire Elder Scrolls series is all a hallucination/dream playing out in the final dying moments of a hippie as he overdoses on a bad batch of LSD sometime in the late 60's.

The magic, races, cultures and lands are all a strange mix of his childhood fantasies, some basic memories of social studies classes and his subconcious hatred of his mother and minor cat fetish.

I think your on to something. I wonder if beth would take inspirations from your theory, as well as my theories (shown above) when trying to find some way to conclude the elder scrolls series (if they ever do).

True, but starlight doesn't burn vampires any more than lying down at the beach regularly on clear nights without sun cream gives one skin cancer. Either less magicka comes from the nightsky or it has different properties to sunlight.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1390687-regarding-chim/page__p__21109665__hl__godhead__fromsearch__1#entry21109665. Well, the dream idea anyway. I don't think there's supposed to be any link to our world, but then the TES universe is subject to cyclic time. So one kalpa might resemble our reality, but I don't know how that could work. Some people on the lore forum might like to discuss it. It beats another thread about racial lifespans.

I think the Aedra did that, but I would need to look on the lore on why sunlight effect vampires.

Your heretic tongue will be silenced... :D

The Elder Scrolls ending... such heresy cannot go unpunished.

I'm going to go pray to Mother now.

When i mean ending, i refer to a chronological ending to the elder scrolls series. I'm sure beth could still go back and make prequels.

LOL

But anyways, if beth wanted to make a sequel that would be the chronological ending, and wanted to use on of my theories as a stepping stone. Then it would have to be the Ancient Earth theory. Because if they go with Nirn really being future Earth then this would have to be shown in a prequel (a game set showing future earth becoming Nirn).

They won't do it. Too much money to squize out of the title. And too many outraged players if they do something among these lines.

I know they won't, but it sure is fun in coming up with crackpot theories of how the elder scrolls will end. I really think there should be some topic somewhere on the elder scrolls forums, where we can up and post/discuss wild theories in how the the series would end, or how Nirn came to be, or whether Nirn is even real (of course it isn't real, but im talking about real in-universe wise).
