Armor, Clothing, nvde, You wear them one of top of the other or not.

So whats the point of have'n 2 different threads.

That both have the same plot about what are you to wear?

Since my character has a very good karma so I won't be in need of any armour, Joshua will pray for my safety.

You could actually
Spoiler
serve him as the main course for the Ultra deluxe Quest.

That's just mean, poor White Glove Society would just get stomach poisoning. :(

This thread is to see how many are going to give the tribals a fair chance and to also discuss the usage of clothing articles.
It's similar to the other thread but not the same.

Why not post why you're (not) going to use clothing into HH instead? :whisper:

Come on Gabriel, I'm actually quite suprised at you.
You're normally the first person to tell people off when they do this.
This topic could quite easily have been debated in one of the 'other' HH inventory threads..

I've already said why I created this one.
One of the threads is to list one's overall equipment and one is strictly about armors.
This one is meant to see how many are going to give the tribals a fair fight, how many are going to allow the tribals to actually do some damage.
As I said, it's similar, but not the same.
Besides, most people follow the major topic at hand in a thread, if I want to know about who is going to use clothing and why then my question will be lost shortly after as most people focus on the overall topic.
So even if I were to ask this in the armor or in the equipment thread my question would be lost after a couple of posts anyway.

But fine, I'll report it to a mod and see what he/she decides.

Yeah, I am fine with this as long as it stays discussing the topic rather than the reasons for making it. Duplicate/similar topics happen all the time - the mods shut/refer/ignore them all the time, this is the latter of those choices. :D

just to be a smart ass, I clicked no. I'm going buck ass naked!

now for my real answer: I don't do stuff to make the game harder (usually, unless its just stupid easy), so I'll just wear whatever I currently have (can't remember. Usually I only wear power armor, but I never got it in my main play through. I started a new one that I'll have it in though).

Well in that case, my first playthrough of HH I already have planned out and I'll be wearing armor. The assassins suit (best looking armor in the game IMO) and Ranger Vet helmet (it's weightless and has good DT) Awesome looking setup.

I will be going through it more than once though, I do fully intend to go through the grand canyon wearing nothing more than a exposed (mybe chained) prosttute outift and a party hat.. Just for laughs.

I gues the caravaneer outift and maybe biker goggles would make sense for a long distance haul through some dusty wilderness, I'll probably go with that for one of my playthroughs too..

I'll go in with my normal leather/merc type armour. I only start using combat armour when I go to take out Ceasars camp towards the end of the game. From then on its pretty much straight combat missions untell the end.

(SIDE NOTE: Yao Guai, a really good reason to take animal friend as a perk.. :P )

I usually wear clothes in stead of armor. I'm taking a couple of sets:

-Kings Outfit
-Viva Las Vegas
-Benny's Suit

Kings Outfit for when I'm walking around outside where there could be enemies. Viva las Vegas is for when I'm around friendly NPC's, and Benny's Suit for when I'm feeling Awesome with a capital A.

I'd take Vera's Outfit tuxedo, or Formal Wear, but I'm afraid they don't really fit in Zion.

I haven't worn any regular clothing in New Vegas yet, but in Fallout 3, I had some characters who only wore Pre-War Business Wear, since it was the coolest clothing there. I may wear one of those trench coats though, have only found 2 so far, kinda sad.

If your referring to the Ranger trench coat go to Camp Golf, full of Rangers ready for the pick'ns.

I'm going to wear Talon Company armor. They paid for the best, so why should they settle for the rest?

I'd go in wearing a Dirty Pre-War Businesswear and Sunglasses, as well as my beloved 10mm Pistol, silenced naturally. :disguise:

Merc Cruiser outfit and sunglasses. You only need armor if you're going to get hit :ninja:

Well, maybe i'll take my Reinforced Chinese Stealth Suit too to spook the locals.
