The only "Console port" part I see is the UI. Which isn't THAT bad.

Agreed. It only took me a short amount of time to get used to it. I like the UI. The only thing I'm waiting on a fix for is to fix the UI for Surround/Eyefinity resolutions. Not because of a preference issue, but because it is well and truly broken at those resolutions. :(

I've come across several bugs, but they've all been purely cosmetic. Cabbages hovering in midair and the like. Nothing game-breaking.

You people are sheep...

You're the reason we got this "half-assed" "console port".

You guys the dude from Animal House getting smacked with the paddle on the ass screaming "Please sir can I have another."

59.99 for crappy "console port" is not a good deal... Nor will the 10-20 DLC they shove down our throat every 2 weeks... Yet you'll bow down and act like it's the greatest [censored] ever.

Lemmings and sheep...

Reason why PC gaming is dying...
Baaaaaaah.

I got a game with hundreds of hours of of game play for a mere $60. So what if it's a port, it's still a fantastic, steal of a game!

Shame you, and others can`t see the forest for the trees.

I was gonna let the OP have it too because of the title but I agree with him. I would easily pay $100 for a game like this. Don't get any idea's developers. I have the game for PC but might buy it for PS3 if it's on sale during Black Friday.

Games this great one come once in a lifetime. Skyrim 2 would be equally amazing! And of course we all know they will make another one like this. This game made way too much money not too. Although we probably won't see it for a good few years, sad.

If you want to pay more than $60 for the game, you can always pick up the http://www.elderscrolls.com/community/bethesda-softworks-announces-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-collectors-edition/ for $150.

That art book looks gorgeous, plus you get a making-of DVD and a frickin' dragon statue.

I haven't bought a game for $60 in years. It seems like a lot to spend on a game that might give me 30 hours of game play, tops. But 300 hours? Now we're talking.

What would I prefer: dinner for two at a nice restaurant, a new pair of jeans, or 300 hours of epic entertainment? Not a hard choice.

It's the fact I play on the PC his comment is possibly one of the funniest things I've seen in my life. The game is not a port. It works flawlessly on my slightly aging PC, is stunningly beautiful and the gameplay is insane. What more could I ask for?

this is honestly the first time a game has meet and exceeded my expectations......im guessing my body and mind is shock because im playing the game just waiting for some major flaw or the massive amount of bugs to pop off at me...and they aint there....

Well, well. Two pages and only one excessive rant. that says a lot for this release.

Something else that says a lot is the number of new and neophyte members to the forums who are so effusive in their praise. I can understand us more experienced users from Oblivion, Morrowind and before, who can appreciate by comparison. And I do appreciate this game and it's possibilities.

I, too am disappointed at the PC UI. Mainly for its inconsistency and clumsy key assignments and re-assignments. They missed a big one that almost every modern game has: recognizing remapping and using them in the onscreen hints. That is an inexcusable failure.

And now, exiting stage left to play some more

Yeah, it should be worth way more. But I'm not going to complain for it being $60 bucks if you what I mean ...

Mr DingleBerry joined 2 days ago and hasn't made a single post where he wasn't offensive towards either Bethesda or forum members. Some people have valid complaints/criticisms, some are just trolling.

As for the ui i hope that DarN will cast his XML magic on it, im sure that he will be able to make a huge difference.
Porting a game from a console to a PC is only logical, it is easy to add features and enhance the feel of the game, in the other hand it can be game breaking to remove features and it will be a lot harder to do.
Havent played the game because of steamworks but seen some lets play and the game looks and feels good.
