Argonian vampire lord

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:41 am

Isn't it pretty dumb that the beast races look like mutated humans or elves in the vampire lord form? Argonians should look more lizardy and have tails. I mean, the gender affects the look but race doesn't? Doesn't really make sense. I made a quick drawing how I think argonians should look.

EDIT: a more beastlike version

I like Khajiits and Argonians it's just the thought of them as Vampires, just gives me bad karma.

For Hist sake it's ugly! Human torso, human legs. Brad Pitt sunbathing with a mask. Try to make it more like a beast.

The argonian body in Skyrim is very human so it wouldn't make sense for it to become "more argonian" in a vampiric form.

Same with werewolves.
It would have been great if khajiits transform into feline like werepanther and argonians into much dragon like werelizard.

Changes i don't think we will see, Bethesda have a thing about hating on the beast races for some reason.

Then they wouldn't be werewolves would they?

There are werelions and werecrocodiles, but the diseases aren't native to Skyrim, hence you not finding those.

I've never understood the whole "Beast races should be more like what they're based on when they become werewolves" argument. What would elves become if that were the case? And furthermore, why would humans become werewolves, instead of wereapes?

I'd honestly believe that saxhleel vampire lords should look more snake like and levitate, instead of hovering with wings.

They'd use their hands to hold levitation spells towards the ground, sort of like Cole's static thruster power in the PS3 Infamous game.

Well that's my opinion about the concept at any rate, I'd agree that the current vampire lord with it's hair is just absurd for argonians.
As well as to an extent, the khajiiti. Same with werewolves, which I'm actually going to look into changing the skin into http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/9694-1-1333441925.jpg http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/9694-1-1335849460.jpg

Werewolves are the way they are because the lore says so, but there is no reason for the vampire lord to look human or elvish if you're an argonian.

Skyrim monster mod?

Or one he made himself. He just took parts from Dragons and Sabercats and Morphed them into a WW form

Oh well I just remember seeing those types from the Skyrim monster mod. The sabercat one looks nice, not sold on the dragon-looking one though.

Yeah, I was mildly disappointed that there is no difference in the VL form between races (aside from the gender differences), but I'm also a person who says that each race should've had their own Were-transformation, which is likely asking for too much.
Also, disappointed that there is no first-person view, especially since the form does rely heavily on ranged-magic use, or the lack of ability to interact with the environment.

I mean, this state of Vampirism is meant to be the pinnacle, but I can't open a chest.
It makes me want to side with the Dawnguard.

Skyrim monster mod?

Well yes indeed, for reference at the moment.

I'd like to do as born2beagator says and get around to morphing the meshes over the WW form or gain permission from SMM to use the resources.

But I'm too busy at the current time to create a modified werewolf retexture of those two models, for I'm in the middle of making a falmer race mod.

In the black marsh the native werecreature is were-crocodiles.
In the native lands of the khajiits its were-lions.

it all comes down to extra models for beast races taking more time and money plus a lot more bug fixes so they take the quick route im sure the idea came up in the office the just decided not to. im surprised we even got a separate gender
