Armored Husky Appreciation Thread

Does anyone not think the Armored Huskies are Badass?

I went to the fort and was looking around on my first visit, and i found these armored dogs and i was like "hey thats cool" walking away I realised they were huskies.
I was surprised when vanilla dogs were scruffy things and not huskies in the first place. I just want to spread my love of the puppies. Does anyone know what happens when both dogs die? do you get more with unique names or just "armored husky"

Do they have blue eyes? I assumed they were German Shepherds.

I rushed off on the main quest before checking the fort first, that's how. I'll have to wonder around next time I'm there.

I love the huskies they implemented, though I wont use them because I don't want them to die and possibly lose them for the rest of the game. does anyone know if they respawn?

Huskies seem to take more damage then trolls, my huskies beat up dragons, my troll got ROFL STOMPED

its a great series, and the books are apparently way better (like most things)

It's funny cuz I havent been on the dawnguard side yet but I have fought huskies and it took me to read this to realize huskies are in the game now.

My troll refused to attack anything, then it decided to attack a NIGHTMASTER Vampire and do the jumpy taunt thing in the middle of fighting it. It wasn't the Vampire that killed it, it was the crossbow bolt to the brain I gave it after such a SHAMEFUL DISHPRAY!

Shepherds are dark in colour, not white and grey :tongue:

OP I love the new dogs, they fit in well with the story and the rest of the game, their armor was very well done and I LOVE the fact that Beth didn't give em helms. All and all I'm really impressed with the new dog companions, I favor them over the armored trolls :yes:

it would be really cool, to be able to modify the armor, like give them glass or steel. It will be neat to see pc modders improve the puppies

Even though I'm a 360 gamer, I can't wait to see the mods after PCer's get the DLC.
I will be using these dogs from here on in, I really didn't like the original dogs. But for some reason these huskies really appeal to me :biggrin:
