Scratch that, it pisses me off if someone says it in general.
Such is the inevitable fate of all memes.
The appeal of a meme is that it's like an inside joke. I remember the first time I saw someone say "I used to _______, but then I took an arrow in the knee" I laughed out loud. It was about a week after Skyrim came out, no one was saying it, and it was a funny little inside joke that I was in on. It was fun.
Skip ahead several months later, and now
everyone is saying it. An inside joke isn't funny if it's used by people who don't even get the reference, and
no joke is funny when everyone is saying it all the time.It is the laziest form of humor. Actually, I don't even understand the humor behind it at all. There's only so many times you can hear "It's over 9000" or "the cake is a lie" before it sounds like "I have no idea how to be funny on my own."
