yeah, assassin gameplay is pretty crazy
at first i used a bow to do most of my damage until i got the 15x dagger damage perk in the sneak tree. Really fun going around and taking out an entire fort full of bandits with just your dagger.
i have a question for you though OP, and any others who may know the answer, is there a difference in dual wielding daggers using this playstyle? I feel that the 2nd dagger is quite useless as i almost always kill anything in one shot with the first dagger.
anyways, i'm level 30 and finally got sneak up to 100 and my archery up to 79, one handed is only at 40 i think...
Also, another question, for this type of playstyle, is it even worth it to invest into the one hand tree? seems to me that it benefits maces/swords/and axes
I've exclusively invested in archery and sneak only, i have 3 extra perks sitting around waiting for my archery stuff
Oh, another question, what are you investing in? Magicka, Health, or Stamina. From level 1 to level 30, i've pumped every still level into Health, and i don't have any problems. Daggers don't take any stamina per swing, as i have noticed. and the only skill that takes stamina is the archery zoom, but that's kind of icing on the cake... not really necessary, in my opinion.
p.s. after archery and sneak, what perk tree should this playstyle benefit the most from, i was thinking alchemy. Still unsure. I figure in any viable playstyle you need a way to regenerate health *to stay alive* and if you're not going into restoration, alchemy is kind of the only other tree to provide healing (in my opinion)
I dual wield daggers because the one hand tree is well worth it. I have the perk "Armsman" Maxed (5/5) "One-Handed weapons do twice as much damage" Then I have "Dual Flurry" Maxed (2/2) "Dual wielding attacks are 35% faster." (For those situations when I have a stupid companion with me that decides to attack stuff then it messes me up completely and I cant sneak well.) I also have "Dual Savagery" "Dual wielding power attacks do 50% bonus damage." That answers question 1 and 2.
Now for The magicka health or stamina at first I went stamina, But a bit later (Got it to 180) I noticed it was pointless really. So I've been going health with a few points in magicka to just make sure when needed I can use heal.
I put a few points in in restoration (only 2) to get "Novice Restoration" "Cast Novice level Restoration spells for half magicka." and "Restoration Dual Casting" Dual casting a restoration spell overcharges the effects into an even more powerful version." To keep myself fully healed at all times.
Did I miss anything? I don't think so lol.
