What if the Thalmor were just a front for the snow elves. It even said someone (don't remember source) that snow elven, technology, magic, building, and culture rivaled that of the Thalmor and every other race.

I thought about the snow elf/thalmor theory but I thought it would be a bit too unlikley that they would have implemented that because the Thalmor seem mostly interested in altmeri supremacy rather than aldmeri as a species unless the said snow elf disguised himself/herself as a high elf (it wouldnt be to hard seeing as snow elves and high elves look fairly similar in height and if jagar tharn can do it the why couldnt a snow elf do it) as a front to rise to power or just fit in and get more support from the altmer. But I kind of hate that these/this hypothetical snow elves that remained themselves/still the original snow elves would be so vengeful (although I, if I had the ability would do the same if I was nearly hunted down.) and why would they attempt to conquer the rest of tamriel even the parts like esweyre or southern hammerfell to ultimatley conquer skyrim back from the nords even though elswyre is insignifigant to a war effort seeing as they are kind of a weak in millitary and in influence throughout tamriel although I guess I can understand taking hammerfell seeing as there a strong distraction from taking down the empire to altogether get skyrim and maybe they thought if you have the power to take back tamriel why not im sure the nords would do the exact same to the elves if they had the power.

Ok I will admit that i don't want to raise Hell across a identical landscape, but I feel that the Vale was different enough to be spectacular and yet similar enough to know I was in Skyrim. I can just imagine a underground city, carved from the ice pack...I can dream...

Well honestly an underground sculpted in ice city would be spectacular and similar to Skyrim so if they manage to do that it would be great !

Aww come on the snow elves are nice guys (well Gelebor is)

Snow Elves are possibly still out there. Their magic and technology rivalled the Dwemer and Altmer. Their things were magical technology, so not full Dwemer steam or pure Altmer. They could build hidden cities. I thing they are my favourite race, they are good Archers, and have a firm grasp on the arcane arts. Also the Betrayed use lots of potions which makes me think they might of also been alchemists.

Exactly. I can imagine the glacial caves that they already have taken to the max. Just a vast cavern, lit by the glow of ancient falmer fires. That would be so cool.

^And they sometimes do check the forums. Sometimes....
