Well - you said "You must use Bloodcursed arrows" initially. :unsure:

In response to someone who have tried both and somehow not had any effect. It had nothing to do with in-game morality etc.

Not really, it is a simple game-play mechanic.

By that I mean is you must have the Bloodcursed arrows to temporary block out the Sun. Supposedly there is an effect by using the Sunhollowed ones, but I have never tested it.

Sunhallowed arrows shot at the sun with Auriels Bow create an effect similar to storm call.
Its quite nifty really :twirl:
