Bathesda should provide free DLC to the gamerscustomers beca

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 7:13 am

What do you think? Bathesda should treat customers right. Three months now Skyrim has become a nightmare for most of the players because of bugs glitches and low FPS. Thus Bathesda in my opinion should provide some free DLC to all of us such as Sony did when their servers went down.

Haha
Probably you, me and other PS3 users will have to pay for DLC more than PC users :)

You serious? They think 1.04 was a gift.

As already said, they morally would, but right now they're too busy developing free HD textures for their beloved PC audience, while those (us) who got to actually play the game 3 months after its release due to it being unfinished and in a beta state are getting the short end of the stick.

They'd be stupid to give away DLC for free, cause I'd happily pay for it.
I'm not that mad at the bugs either, I've come to expect that from a Beth game. I'm just happy it's not nearly as bad as with FNV at launch

Do you really believe consoles could run Skyrim with those PC HD Textures mod?

(explodes into laughter)

It is a miracle consoles can even run Skyrim on PC's medium settings.

I think I never mentioned that, but the PC elitist inside you wanted to show off, as if we cared.

Yes, so we can have MORE complaining. Let's just be happy for a game that runs right!

Those are just facts. I never said I prefer PC over consoles. For me, nothing beats playing on a 32' TV with a home theater (PCs can do this as well but... you got my point, right?).

Agree. I still prefer a game that runs right with no DLC at all instead of a buggy game with free DLC.

Sony gave us 5 games after a month of broken PSN. My bet, Beth's priorities are on Marketing, not loyalty.

On every forum you post on, it's the same anger, sob stories, and aggression toward other posters who are trying to be positive. If you've had a crappy experience, you have every right to be upset. But saying things like Bethesda cares more about their PC audience is simply RIDICULOUS, when : 1) The game (and engine) was BUILT with the Xbox360 in mind and 2) Consoles can't even handle/load/render HD textures.

Sony's error was SO much worse. SO much worse, you don't even know how bad it is. All our personal information being exposed and possibly exploited is infinitely worse than a game not working all the way through. Plus, it was what, 75 million users who got affected in the hack (I had to close bank accounts, place a credit watch on my ssn and cancel debit cards)?

Believe me, if Bethesda had 75 million people buy their game they'd be happy to have the executive team give every ps3 user who bought the game a back rub. Sure, the first few hundred people would be more sore afterwards but eventually they'd get the hang of it. At some point, the CEO will be able to cure paralysis and scoliosis with his bare hands.

Forgive me, the last 4 Bethesda games I bought were unplayable for an amount of time, and Skyrim was the last of it, and the cherry atop the cake. Also, I was not aggressive towards the OP. Obvious sarcasm can't be any more obvious.

1) Interesting. That explains why the PC version bests the other two in all departments... Nah, it doesn't explain it, actually. It's sarcasm. I just point it out this time.
2) I never asked for it. It was an example based on a true event. All I asked was a functional game on release, and I got that game 3 months later. I had a 50€ beta game sitting on my shelf all this time.

P.S. Glad to know I have fans.

As long as most Gaming Mags and Websites/blogs do not call them out on it they will be able to keep the bad PR to a minimum. Besides, even if every PS3 user did not buy their next game they would still sell millions of them worldwide. Don't even look at it that way... they learned from the bad PR over Fallout 3 and New Vegas. They just kept telling PS3 ownwers they were getting special consideration this time around and even with their dubious track record most of else fell for the pre-launch PR. So who dumber us or them?
