Beowulf (2007) : Othor Games

Anyone else love this movie?
I watched it around a month Ago and I was blown away of How good it was!
Its script was amazingly done
"Keep A memory of me, not as a hero or king, But as A man, flawed and weak"
I was A fan of the poem since I was A kid and I was going to watch it, but my friend said it was utter trash.
I loved how they made Beowulf VERY Flawed as a character, They made him more realistic then in the Orignal poem, He wasant some Invincible Hero, He was just A flawed man.
Anyone else agree or disagree?

*shrug* poem was better
like EVERY movie
but to kill a mocking bird and great gatsby
espcially crucible, the movie was terrible

well that sounds....interesting im more of a reader i like classics to stay in books
i have to admit Beowulf was dang good but wasnt as epic as the poem
the poem is the original btw

Stumbled upon the blu-ray cheap just a week ago and bought it on a whim even though I never seen it before or belived it to be particulary good. And my expectations came true, didn't really like the movie much and now consider trying to sell the blu-ray on Ebay

Report the thread and ask for a name change. Preferably to Beowulf (2007). Movie is kinda redundant, and doesn't belong in the parenthesis. Never watched the movie by the way, but is that the one with the CGI-nvde Angelina Jolie?

and about the paradise lost, bradley cooper as lucifer , really? i think Daniel Day Lewis would be perfect and Liam Neeson as Gabriel tbh

The only thing good about the movie IMO was the fact that Crispin Glover did the noises for Grendel.

and walken just scares the bejesus out of me

Yes I know lucifer means "Morning star" I think, He was Gods favoured angel.

Does classic Novella count

If so "At the mountains of madness" By H.p Lovecraft, Or If Epic poems count as classic novels it would be "Divine Comedy" By Dante Alighieri.
