Awesome.

Somebody asked what kind of perks would H2H probably have? I think some sort of elemental fist perks would be cool but I doubt that's lore friendly. I'd also like to see grapples!

Why do i feel the need to read every post since thread 4?

Also i liked the idea (not sure who posted it earlier) of them adding three new trees that were balanced between warrior, thief and mage.

H2H:thief
spear:warrior
shouts:mage

Also for discussion:
Do you think we will only get one type of spear?

I was going to, but I went on my old man walk. :touched:

Personally don't see much Dwemer stuff being on Solstheim (seeing as it was brought up) - it's entirely possible that the Spheres/Centurions would be serving in the same capacity they did for the Telvanni in Vvardenfell (At least your own tower had Dwemer Spheres protecting it).

Posters,

since someone brought the involvement of the Dragonborn in this DLC supposedly centered around it (it could even mean something else ala Morrowinds Prophecy if you know it) what say you on this regard? do you think this is an excellent opportunity or wasted effort?

how does this sound for those who are functionally not the Dragonborn in their games, another Dragonborn who has an involvement in the DLC or even a number of them? would you like them better if they were rivals or followers? remember this is speculative.

It would be interesting if the dual-wielding perk that increases unarmed attacks would be fixed/nerfed so that it only applies to onehanded weapons. If that happens, then I definitely imagine an attack speed perk. Maybe a silent attack perk and an unarmed backstab perk. I would like to see perks that increase the number of moves and animations, like the decap perk in the onehanded tree. I don't expect to decap people while unarmed, but a few new attack animations would be great. Lastly, I expect there will be some of the more boring stuff, like stamina cost reduction perks.

There might be some nice unarmed defense buffs or perks too, since not carrying a weapon would make you very vulnerable but also very agile.

My thoughts;

I think that the Dragonborn aspect of the game isn't quite the finished article; well, it is but there's plenty of room for expansion. More shouts/perk tree for shouts, more lore regarding Dragonborn and previous Dragonborn. Dragons making use of more shouts etc.

If the main quest is going to continue on with Skyrim's, I'd be hoping it was done in a similar fashion to Tribunal. Having said, that I'm convinced yet that it'll be all up in your face with "You're the DRAGONBORN wherever you like it or not!".

jesus christ man, take a hint. Any number of things in game that I want. Magic, Psijic, Thalmor, Dwemer, Falmer, Aetherius, Orsinium, etc etc etc, you want examples of what can be added to Skyrim, then go read the UESP wiki. I can't be bothered to list the near infinite possibilities of new and interesting content that can be made for Skyrim.
My last statment to be made. I can find an version of any of thoes in game already. So a Werebear would be no different.

13 minutes between a thread closing and the new one cropping up? We're slipping! :ahhh:

I think there's plenty of room on improving the Dragonborn aspects of the game and making it better, but I sincerely hope there's more to it than that. Not everyone wants to be the Dragonborn, and it'd svck if we were forced to be it for the sake of visiting Solstheim. Mods will eventually solve that problem if it is there, but that still leaves console users out in the cold.

First off I will be disappointed if you need to be dragonborn for the DLC. If there is more then enough content for non-dragonborn then I could live with it.

Second. I would prefer them to be a rival, but a choice between friend or foe would be nice.

Never been there myself, so I'm looking forward to it. Plus if there's larger Dunmer populace there, that means I can visit a town that isn't overrun with Nords. That alone makes me excited.

My last statment to be made. I can find an version of any of thoes in game already. So a Werebear would be no different.

This is the issue you seem to be missing, there is no objective quantity of content. For me, the amount of lycanthropy already in Skyrim is sufficient. I enjoy it, I love playing my werewolf and I love the new perk tree. I am done, I am content. And therefore, I want something else to quench my thirst for Skyrim and TES lore. You're entitled to want more lycanthropy or anything else, but you have been trying to convince me that there is an objective quantity of other aspects of the game, which is simply not true.

For people who love smithing, there is no such thing as too many weapons. For people who want all the lycanthropy, there is no such thing as too much too many weres. This is the whole point of what I have been trying to convey to you during this exchange, my opinion that there is enough lycanthropy and that more would be redundant is not something that you can argue or disprove. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I have expressed mine more thoroughly than I care to.

Me having an opinion that you don't agree with is not an invitation for you to try and convince me to agree with you or disprove my opinion.

Everyone still thinks H2H means hand to hand combat? Silly. This is clearly a special speech perk called heart to heart where you can have an engaging conversation with any human character you want.

Nope, I'm quite happy to go back and see what the Dunmer have done with the place. However... that changes if anything Hircine-related is involved.

H2H could also mean 'human to human' which an acronym associated with disease transmission.

No. Not really. Hasn't it been some what 200 or so years since we've seen it? It's had time to change.
