Post » Thu Nov 08, 2012 2:51 pm

They dont have any dates to share yet.....

As for pricing...i am not sure.

I am hopeful for a bundle price!

Yeah a bundle would be good.

Or buy one and get the other 2 free. lol

I'm hoping two things for the 'new' for PS3 content:

#1 its ALL the content previously not available.

#2 The pricing is SOMEWHAT reflective of the backhanded way the PS3 customers have been treated.

I just saw GStaffs name at the bottom of one of these threads. I really think after all this time we (PS3 users) deserve just a straightforward answer.

Wait. Could this also mean Dragonborn is Xbox exclusive? Which is why it's only listed in the description of the trailer? Best not be true. :verymad:

I agree with you on the pricing....

It would be nice to get an answer on how much these items will be for PS3 players.

The thing I really fear most is this 'new' content for the PS3 is a pared down version of what is available on other platforms.

If it was previously commercially released content, why not just call it what it is?

Could be they are being ambiguous because it will be neither HF, DG or DB? And the PS3 content is just like the dragonbone weapons and some effing horse armor?

I can't help thinking that some people are really overthinking this. It seems pretty clear and straightforward to me.

The only questions remaining are, IMO:

1) what is the release date on PC and PS3, and
2) will PS3 get all content, or a cut down version so that it runs better, and what will the price be.

Only X360 is allowed to be listed. Microsoft does not allow Bethesda, due to the contract, to advertise the DLC for other platforms (hopefully only until 11.11). That is why DG and HF just got released, without any release date,

GSTAFF already addressed this. He said it will be more than just that.

I can confirm this.
HF and DG were NEVER announced on PC. They just popped up some day on steam.

Mmm, where? He said it would be more than the equivalent of a title update (mounted combat).

There are many layers in the strata between 'more than mounted combat' and all three DLCs.

The question on pricing here is also important because there has certainly been significant depreciation of value for these add-ons.

I think DG and HF should both be released at a discount relative to the delayed release for each. IFF that happens I could consider paying full price for DB.

NEW CONTENT COMING FOR PS3 IS DAWNGUARD HEARTHFIRE AND DRAGONBORN

NEW CONTENT FOR PC WOULD BE DRAGONBORN

Dragonborn was ALREADY ANNOUNCED for 360......so its technically not NEW

They might still be working on Dragonborn for pc...hence NEW!!

ITS ALL NEW FOR PS3...

Dont read too far into this...

You're kinda being selective with your definitions.

Dawnguard on the PS3 was announced ages ago, just without a release date. We were told that the PS3 version of Dawnguard was being held back due to quality concerns, but that statement was a confirmation/announcement that such a version existed, so by your own rational that Dragonborn isn't new on the 360 because it was announced (on Monday...), we can't consider Dawnguard on the PS3 to be NEW content.

All of what you wrote is speculation and conjecture. It could be right, but it's still not solid fact as of now. Typing in all caps isn't going to change that.

Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn would all be NEW to the PS3...because the PS3 has NO add on content! Seriously?!? Don't argue...its RUDE!

I think Bethesda needs to stop making these open ended comments... If you cant make a clear statement keep your mouths shut. Intended or not these kind of statments do more damage then good in false speculation and future disappointment. Just my 2 cents.
That seemed more like 25 cents to me! lol ;)

It'll be content that's not already on those platforms.

sometimes I really think they consider "bad publicity" better than "no publicity." That said, I'm glad of both the tweets and gstaff's comments. We haven't heard anything in FOREVER.

Many PS3 members have been banned forever from these forums. Lots of animosity has (rightly) been directed at the developers and this is the very first baby step at closing the rift.
