It is nice when you find a company with good customer relations though, isn't it? Take Deep Silver, for instance. They're the developers of Dead Island. When they found out about a good number of game-breaking glitches, they flew fast to put out a patch that actually managed to fix a lot of problems. Then, as an apology, they put out another patch that not only gave the player 10 more levels to level up through, but new weapon mod recipes, better item finds, and improved quest rewards. There was no paid DLC, you just got it free in a patch.
The patching was a mess for Dead Island...
The day one patch was fine but it just corrected some minor things.
The second patch was released and then pulled.
That caused version matching problems with with multiplayer not to mention the second patch fixed a few minors things and broke things that weren't broken before.
The third patch that fixed the no-saving / save corruption problems in DI took more than a month to fix.
But I give Techland a pass for that since they're still a relative new comer to big titles (only other big title from Techland that I can recall is Call of Juarez).
