Read the rules? I know its a given but a lot of noobs don't read them.

1. Don't talk about the BGSF forum to the outside world.

2. When in a debate if they hit circular logic, just walk away and chalk it up as a win. You get ego and a win, and they get to look like an idiot. We're all secretly watching and know, so don't worry about fighting it out to the bitter end. This might save you and them a ban.

3. We're secretly like the bored and rich Romans. We want a spectacle in a debate as much as a point. Win the crowd and there is good chance you may win the debate. At the very least great favor will be earned by "oldies".

4. If you ever see a moderator beware the thumbs down, many forumites have gone too far even when they seen the moderators swooping in. I said give us a show, not the mods another ban to fill.

5. Don't talk about the BGSF forum to the outside world.

Put tech questions (especially one's about PC building) in the tech thread where they belong . . .

You can -snip- a huge post when quoting, or if you want,only keep a small portion of it. I don't want to have to read through 5 paragraphs to spot the poorly bolder section you are specifically responding to.

Never tickle a sleeping mod. Also dont poke them with sticks.

Stick to the basic font/color for typing, no one is going to read your eye bleeding color, and if they do they probably aren't going to respond kindly

I don't care what anyone else says, this right here is the best post that will be made on this thread because it is so true.

People who like to be "unique" do show up every once in a while. They post in neon pink or florescent green for a few days and then we never see them again. Seriously. Maybe they just get bored, I don't know, but the ones that post in the odd fonts and/or strange colors never seem to last even a week.

Also, i changed my avatar once... nobody noticed... QUICK! Can anybody tell me what I changed it to that one time? If you do you'll get 10,000 internets.

The worst thing about posting in custom colors is that there are multiple forum themes, which means if you post in a bright color, people using "elegant" will have trouble seeing it and if you post in a dark color people using "warrior" will have trouble, whereas the default color automatically changes when using a different theme.
