Meanwhile in china, a child who is in a car accident is left to die on the spot, driver takes away in haste and even makes sure to drive over the little girl again to make sure she stays dead. All that in order to not have to pay for the hospital visit of the child. The child didn't die instantly and was left for two hours on the street before someone finally helped her to the hospital, but she didn't survive.

Is that really a true story.... I'm amazed

It was in the news a while ago. It's a true event. The way hospital visits work in china is that the person who takes them there might have to pay for the visit, I'm not entirely sure why it's like that, but that combined with greed equals not good.

Well that's just another thing to add to the list of reason why I dislike China.

When you're Bill Gates rich you can do all that^ and have much more left for charity.

And loads of people just ignore her, another story had an old man collapse in the street. Ignored again.

I for one, welcome our soulless Chinese overlords.

Well, that puts me giving my coppers to the charity tub at the end of the till to shame!
Good to know people are spreading the wealth. You hear so much now about greed and selfishness and it's nice to hear that there are still people doing pretty incredible things with their fortune.
