Bonfire night Guy Fawks nightfireworks nightthe gunpowder pl

I like bonfires, but I find fireworks incredibly dull if I'm out, and if I'm at home they drive me up the wall because of the dog.

I likely won't be doing anything, if I do go out, it'll just be a regular Saturday night

I think it is about time this thread is resurrected from the grave. Needless to say I'm working on getting some tickets for some fireworks display somewhere. Anyone else planning to see/do anything this year?

It gets annoying around bonfire night around here, mainly because of people throwing bangers and lighting rockets towards people. Always the little squeaky kids as well.

I only searched for this because of the way saw some people shooting off some fireworks. Heard an advert for an event on the radio too. Yeah, squeaky kids. They tend to lose a hand or a face every now and then. Shame really.

I plan to go see a fireworks display and burning of Fawkes on a bonfire like I did last year, was good fun. I like fireworks. :)

Has Halloween passed or something? :P
I'm still waiting for Halloween, I'll tell you my plans for Guy Fawkes night closer to the date ;) (I don't plan ahead too much, that just leaves opportunity for disappointment)

Leaving for London in around...10 hours now :teehee:

"Remember-remember the 5th of Novenber of gunpowder, treason and plot. I know of no reason why the 5th of november should ever be forgot." Looks likes I'm going to be watching V for Vendetta this November 5th....all these years and it's still a great movie B).

I think that would be a good tradition. It's such a great film.
