A call to the wolfpack #15

Post » Thu Aug 02, 2012 9:38 am

I have started a toon that will utilize the beast form, usually I become a werewolf just for the added strength, stamina, disease resistance but this time I want to try and use the beast form to it's fullest during combat. As of late I will change only during the night and will stay off the road but remain with in feet of it so as to ambush my prey, or stalk it for as long as I can, once I deem it fit to attack I will rush in and power swipe my prey so as to put them on their back and then it's game over. When facing 3-5 potential prey I run circles around them "herding" them into a circle(or closely bunched together) and will periodically make a 90 degree turn into the group taking swipes at whomever and will continue this until one or more break away screaming " I submit" or " We are routed" and finish them off away from the main group. I will continue this tactic until either the group or myself have perished.

This is a topic for werewolves to share knowledge and stories of the hunt, thanks for howling back

**Please remember to not post spoilers so as to show respect for our fellow PC and PS3 werewolves regarding Dawnguard**

Wait before I go for a game o Halo......
What forest are we talking about here? I thought it was within my territory ? Which surrounds http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj500/Justin_Peddle/Outlineofmyterritoey-1.png Assuming my den is dead center ( which it's pretty close to dead center ) it would take about a day, maybe two to walk to Falkreath and about the same to reach Ivarstead. Where exactly did you pour the oil? From the sounds of it your still over by Markarth.
I'm sorry to confuse you, I use the elder scrolls lore as my main source in this role play, lore wise Skyrim is a thousand times bigger than represented in game, actually, Tamriel is described as being 12 million square miles, while skyrim in the game is only about 5 sqm. role playing is more fun when the world size is realistic

ah [censored] I was supposed to be in a silent area when I clicked on the first link.

So, Markus, have you given up? I would suggest hunting vampires, they are a lot weaker and much more pesky.

Nothing at all. Just giving you the option to back down without looking chicken to your boss.

Tell your boss that vampires are what you consider a bigger threat. You make more progress against the svckers, silver blood is happy, and we can continue having fun. Plus, you won't be burning down the forest.

@ Strodrage....

My den is located http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj500/Justin_Peddle/Outlineofmyterritoey-1.png if you look there's 2 small sections of hills then the mountain range at the bottom of the map due South of the Throat of the world. In between the mountains at the bottom of the map and the adjacent hills there is a cozy little nook in some rocks that I like to call my den, I also have a secondary safe area close to that farm run by vampires ( I forget it's name ). It's a hunters shack that I keep clear and will stop for a rest from time to time.

Hah, weaker? Typical of a werewolf to think true power lies in claws and muscles. A pure blooded vampire wields power too terrible to imagine (thanks for that Dawnguard DLC :P) and collects more wisdom over the centuries than the collective knowledge of all werewolves in existence. I don't even think you have prolonged lifespans. Amateurs. :P Vampires also make much harder prey as they posses...ba dum bum...INTELLIGENCE!...ba dum bum.

We don’t have a contract on Vampires, and why should we abandon this contract when its pretty much the same thing?

It's a good offer Markus. You wouldn't be looked at as a coward by the pack, you have lasted longer then the vampires did just before the release of Dawnguard. That in itself is a sign of your bravery, you still have a chance to back down. Except these new terms, you still get to hunt monsters and be the " Good guy ", telling the Silver Bloods that we're destroyed will please them and you still receive payment. There's no way the Silver Bloods have identities of any member of the pack, well maybe my identity but you can say I ran like a coward, I won't mind. Just so long as my woods are left in peace, allowing me to spend the rest of my days hunting as a wolf, waiting for Hircine to take me to the Hunting grounds.

One can compare vampires with dragons. Of course we are not so powerful but we are of the same noble stock. Werewolves? Mangy mutts of Hircine. Mortals aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer to begin with, but when they become werewolves they loose what little intelligence they have in the first place. Then again, it isn't exactly the smart ones who become werewolves in the first place. One just has to take a look at the Companions; you'd find more brains at a convention of drunk horkers. Of course they gain speed, physical power and a great big smelly coat of fur in exchange but we vampires loose nothing; we become physically stronger (a vampire lord can match a wolf claw for claw in melee any day) and also become smarter. This is not the squishy wizard type of smart, but rather a deeper understanding of the way the world functions. Plus we are (technically) immortal which is just freaking awesome. :D

The vampires are weaker, more numerous, and aren't united like we are.

Look for a rock over hang that you normally see wolves and trolls living under. That's my den, and yes it's an actual location in game  I would be using the farm as my second location but after killing the 2 vampires everything inside is marked as steeling and I don't trust the storage to not respawn. I've been defending this entire time  Markus there strolled into this thread and openly declared war on the pack and all werewolves  Then when I informed him that in the woods us werewolves would absolutely destroy his army making short work of his " war " which in turn Markus poured oil all over the place to " smoke us out ". Who's looking like the aggressor ? Me, defending my pack brother&sisters, my territory or Markus marching in and threatening to burn the entire area to the dirt just to kill 20-30 werewolves ( within the pack )

The vampire lord speaks truths, the mind of a werewolf is not a healthy one, there is plenty of evidences to that

Oh it's quite a lot of fun. They're very entertaining, unlike the Companions who are boring (along with their quest-line) AND dumb. XD

Were I an ordinary vampire I might pay half a mind to your threat. For they are weak, and inferior when compared to us; we are the ancient ones, we have gathered our power throughout the eras. We are older than the wars of men, beasts and elves and are wise beyond measure. We are the pure-blooded, the Lords; champions of our master Molag Bal (some are more partial to Hermaeus Mora). Even as clouded as you beast mind is, you cannot think for a second you could prevail in combat against a vampire lord?
