Hopefully there'll be a way to define new plots of land with the Creation Kit. There's a pretty clearing in the woods outside Volskygge that I have my eye on.

I think it will just be predetermined plots of land that you can build on.
this. in the vid it says you purchase a plot of land to build on so im almost certain they're predetermined plots that will fit the fully upgraded house/compund. It seems like they'll all be lakeside plots for the fish hatcheries but that remains to be seen.

I wonder if you can buy more then 1 plot and build multiple homes...i doubt it

I think it will be set spaces of land in certain areas. I am going to assume it will be one area in each hold so I won't be disappointed but I do hope there is more plots of land you could actually choose.

I think each area is going to a have a large terrain, a medium one, and a small one, or something like that. But I'm just guessing.

They can't just let you build anywhere. It would allow you to break the game.

tweeb tah bahla tah nue! Erk Nee Beurg! sul sul

just viewed the trailer and well..... i guess for 5 dollars might be ok.

Id rather have a home built right into the side of a mountain on a high peak ledge. But doubtful that would ever be on an xbox.

my pc rig can run skyrim easily but im too lazy to start over again with all the new stuff coming down the pipe line game wise.

ill still buy it reguardless. its only 5 dollars cant expect much for 5 dollars.

I doubt it, unless you want your house clipping through a wall or something.

Terrain in Skyrim is so rough I bet the choice will be very limited, very, very limited. I know, a lot of people would love to build their house where they want, but look at the damn terrain!

I'd rather put my house outside a city instead of in the woods.

It's very, very unlikely. Devs surely took into account future mods that will improve landmasses and add custom buildings, being able to build your own house just about anywhere would basically break any of those mods even before they are made.
