If it's lust then there are 'things' you can do that will help relieve the tension and get her off your mind. I'm being serious too. Or if it's love, well then maybe you'll get over it.

She was a child of the corn, so she will probally murder you in your sleep. Or she is a freaky murderous orphan, who is really 40( :ninja:). You're pick.

If you're suggesting something involving...images of his crush, I'll say from experience that it won't work. Images or video of someone else might.

She's either 14 or 15 now. Started acting at the age of 7. Either way, she's a murderous orphan.

She's actually 40, she has some disease. And she passes herself off as an orphan. And she is also a communist hillbilly.

So a communist hillbilly orphan who is 40, but looks 8 and will kill you in your sleep. That sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Edit: She also takes advantage of the disabled.

Well she's 15 for starters, which I guess is okay if you're 15, unless you mean in a puppy cute kinda way.

Guy: "I don't want to like this person anymore"

Other Guy: "...I think she is cute" <---- That is not a solution.

There is a big difference between saying a young girl is cute, and deciding to hunt her down to snatch and chain up in your basemant.

I'm saying, not hunting.

That depends entirely on what you mean by "cute", but I'd rather not derail any further.

I didn't think so. I was just addressing the "creepy factor". I don't think there is one for any of us admiring someone's look.

I'll just say this so that it's quite clear. There is no such thing as love at first sight. There can be lust but not love. Love requires deep care which can only come with spending months with a person, not weeks, not days but months. Some people start their relationship based on lust and grow to love each other but that's different, no two people have ever started a relationship based on love from the get go as they first meet.

So what you are experiencing is simply lust (lust does not need to be physical, you can for example lust for power or lust for an idea) which is based on your positive preconceptions on her based on what knowledge you've gained about her. But this is about you and how you already know that your reaction is wrong. Not to worry though, it's perfectly natural and most (not all) people experience this in some shape or form at some point (mostly around the ages of 12 - 18 though) so you're not the exception but the rule.

Even the most logical and intellectual people can be controlled in ways they do not desire by some function of their brain. In your case at this moment it would be your case with this girl, in my case it would be my Cynophobia. Just count yourself lucky that while I'll go through the days fearing cute little puppies that I really should adore your problem will probably pass after a short while :P

Hormones, man. Puberty and what not. Happened to me tons of times, and will probably happen a couple more times too. Just sit it out, because in a couple weeks, you'll be like "Why did I like her, again?"

You know, I think with this post, and the fact that I had to delete some less than stellar posts... we can lock this.
