My cat sleeps under my bed now because when he tries to sleep next to me, I end up tossing and turning while I'm asleep. So it wakes him up. I swear I think that he's offended. He's the greatest cat.

Sell the cat on and buy a dog.
Spray the top of the case with something that will overpower the cats senses, it'll avoid the case that way?
Make a hole in the side of the case as a massive 'vent'

Cats are really scared of tin foil. Fix a sheet of tin foil over the top of the PC and I guarantee you he will never go up there again.

Mount a contact switch on the topside of the computer casing, hooked up to a recording of a rottweiler barking it's head off.

Now place the speaker inside your computer casing.

How would it?

If you mean blocking the air flow from the top, then simply leave a bit of room under the tin foil for the air to escape.

That's kinda what I was asking, wouldn't it trap the heat etc since that's one of it's main uses...

I have observed that my cat refuses to jump on the table if there is a sizable object of any weight in there, like an empty can of Coke.
