And I believe the Champion of Cyrodiil is not Sheogorath.

Sheogorath appears in a quest. If our Champion of Cyrodiil is infact Sheogorath, he hasn't changed. Looks the same.

It's like Tim Allen in the Santa Clause, eventually every Sheogorath becomes a Scottish lunatic

I checked the guy out. He was not a Bosmer. He was human. He wrote the journals in 4E 187, and currently lives in Skyrim. Can someone tell me how long that is? I'm not familiar with TES calendar.

The era and year the story in Skyrim happens is 4E 201... So, it's 14 years after the murder.
