Because after having a battle with a mountain of dudes, it's strange to see them all having the same shirt after stripping them of their gear. The same underwear on everyone for that matter. This has been stated alot in this topic so far.

I vote yes to change, BUT, my underwear is trash after 5 years. I doubt new stuff would be good after 200+. Unless you stumble across the Fruit of the Loom factory.

The reason underwear isn't included in the game is that if you were to take it from someone they would be naked. And God forbid anybody would be seen naked in a game published in the U.S.

What is confusing is that, in Fallout 3 it's 2277. Which means, underwear and civilized people would only of existed at a maximum of 100 years ago. Anyone born over the year 2177 would not have, need, or even care about underwear.

So where do raiders, settlers, caravans, etc.. get underwear from in year 2277? I understand that the Vault Dweller would have underwear because he came from a Vault, and they have clothes. Where would they get the underwear if everyone from 2177 and before that time is dead? Bones you find, laying around don't have underwear or clothes for that matter. So there is absolutely no where to get clothes from other than a Vault, in present day 2277.

If it's not in the game by now it's not going to be.

Sill I am with the OP on a level. I am more for entire outfits. For my female characters to be able to wear a suit and for a male character to wear a nurse outfit. I would like many more styles of underwear,sixy sleepwear and naught nightwear.

I think how they did it in Oblivion was a more realistic touch. It made sense, at least. If it returns, good. If not, whatever.

Maybe they could just have some randomized color variations since that seems to be a big point of contention.
