Personally I will not be mad at you guys if you cannot deliver it in 2012. I am used to release dates of games to be pushed back (of course always for a good reason), so 2012 translated to reality usually means to me "fall 2012 / early 2013".

Perhaps they got their dates from some of those retailer placeholders.

The official release date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned.

We still have the E3 to go. I hope Dishonoured is released this year.

They communicated the date after visiting the Arkane Studios for a special about Dishonored. Even, if it comes out in 2013, I hope will be a great game. I prefer a game that is realized slowly and carefully rather than a game realized quickly and, so, full of errors and poor of original elements.

Arkane and Bethesda have made ??great games. Dishonored will be another masterpiece.

Bethesda posted a mysterious image with the note "tommorow" on twitter. It could be Corvo. The art isn't quite like Dishonored though...

Yep, the art does not fit but it could be a capture from a CG trailer. If that's the case, that would be weird. I'm waiting for this game and all but a CGI trailer now? You either release that kind of trailer to announce a game or for its release as a launch trailer not in the middle of your marketing campaign. Still I'd would watch it with pleasure.

Well, to be fair, the campaign doesn't look to have taken off just yet. We've seen screens, a few interviews and heard about some features but I suspect we'll see a lot more around E3 this year. Press demos, maybe some supporting gameplay trailer (seeing as we've now seen the CGI trailer) and (hopefully) an indication of a release date. I'm guessing end of year although that it looking pretty packed already. With the US elections, ad space is going to be really expensive and we're still seeing AC3, Bioshock Infinite, CoD and other major titles release around then. So maybe they're looking to fill a slot in early 13. Still, Skyrim had 11-11-11 so Bethesda could go for something in that week, I guess.

They did. The devs where around a bit before the release of Skyrim. It was a bit difficult to find the right threads tho.
