is the chest safe or will it reset in 7-30 days? i've used it as temp storage but retrived my items an hour later

Now..THAT is a million septim question. Only temp for me so far.

Glad to hear it's optional.

It would be nice if the OP had said this from the start since the post sounds like a total change rather than an optional one.
