I used to try to remember to put my drinks on the side of the desk opposite my computer, but now I never forget.

My computer is underneath my desk, and is pretty sheltered regardless, so this isn't really an issue for me.

I have broken two keyboards tipping tea over them however.

My idiot friend spilled coke on mine, I cleaned out the outside but I am afraid some got inside and haven't bothered since. Kinda waiting for it to blow up sooner or later.

no spillage accidents on my hardware so far but I'm planning on getting this keyboard anyways

When I do have something to drink by the puter I use a cup like this

My drinks are far away from where my PC is so that doesn't happen but I've had them spill into my keyboard before and that's annoying.

But for consoles.. I spilled water on an old PSOne once, and it killed it.

I had my ethernet cable to my 360 to high or something and tripped over it..knocking the 360 over onto my PS2 below, thankfully it missed it and hit the docking center instead. Unfortunately it snapped the case of one of my memory cards in half, but the memory card itself was fine and still works, and my 360 worked as well. Now n days I try to keep things like that from happening.
